Love coming to this laundromat. Machines all work really good. They have chairs everywhere available for their customers so they can wait while their load is done or even tables to sit at. Prices are reasonable. They also have many washing/ drying machines that are different sizes so you have more options to choose from.
The Joy Coin Laundry is pretty straightforward. Welcoming environment and kept clean; especially considering we are in the Covid era. Quality machines at an affordable price.
We go there for the extra large washers and dryers which work well for sleeping bags. Washer was $7.25, dryer took $5 to dry two thick sleeping bags.
I like this establishment. It's never dirty, laundry machines work well at a fair price. My only suggestion to get I suggest newer chairs they are pretty old and hard. I sit in my car so it's no big deal for me when waiting for my clothes to finish.
This laundry is always neat and clean every time that I go. The best times to go by find are what's the weekdays because it can get crowded on the weekends. All the machines work efficiently both washing and drying. Which is a big thing given that some laundromats dryers don't dry all the way you must continuously put quarters. But not here. It's on Crenshaw and not far from many food places if you wish to drop your clothes and go. The workers at the laundromat are friendly and greeting every time that I've gone as well. There is very little noise outside of the laundry inside only noisy when there is a full house but everything runs very quick and efficient you will be in and out in no time.
This place is not good. The owner is very rude and gets an attitude about the quarters. He wants to know how many quarters you are going to use. He cursed out a teenage girl because his machine shorted her a dollar. He said he was going to called the police on her. I would never go back to the laundry mat.
There are many coin laundries in the neighborhood - this one is clean, large, well lit, the majority of machines are modern front loaders. There are a bunch of videogames available - it would be cool to make them free. Sure it's only 25 cents to play but come on. So far I'm satisfied with service.
The washers a very dirty and they stained all of our clothes. The person who is supposed to be cleaning them after every load was just sitting down watching TV. The change machine wasnt working and the lady who works there just sat there and never once helped
Probably would've given them 3 or 4 stars but you can't even use the bathroom in here and most places just keep there bathrooms clean & keep seat covers...they just don't wanna clean it, u in trouble if u have to use the restroom..
Owner is extremely rude everytime I go in. He interrogates me and has now today turned me away to give me quarters. He asked me where my laundry was and I told him it was in my car and he told me to get my laundry and THEN he would give me quarters. Uhm, no, don't have a quarter machine in your establishment if your not going to let people use it. I put money in and I get quarters. That it. You don't ask me for proof with my laundry, that's insane and rude. And then walls back into his office and closes the door in my face, talk about terrible customer service. Hire someone else to run the place that is more pleasing to deal with. And next time don't close your door in a customer's face, jackass
