Description

Family Laundry is a regional Laundromat chain serving Bergen and Pasaic County for over 30 years. We strive to bring our customers a safe, clean, and friendly atmosphere. We operate two locations in Hackensack, Haledon, Pompton Lakes, and Maywood. Under construction is our newest laundry facillity in Paterson. We offer ammenities that include on-site parking, free Wi-Fi, vending and snack machines, 24 hour fully attended, air conditioning, HDTV's, and helpfull attendants.

In the business industry we talk about how youu can have a thousand good experiences and all it takes is one bad one to tarnish the reputation of that place in your eyes . Well today was that day. I usually come wash clothes here for the convenience of it being 24 hours . Well today I was surprised with the worse customer service ever . I messed up and added my card to the machine next to mine when I asked the attendant if there was any possible way she can please stop that machine so I can switch my clothes to the machine I paid for . She told me she can stop the machine but I won’t be able to switch my clothes out . Keep in mind this machine is $8.63 somewhere around there . I paid for the machine twice n got one wash out of it . I asked the attendant if she can please at least start my machine with the their master key card . N I was denied . Had to pay for double soap which I don’t mind cause I messed up but the whole machine situation.. for Christ sakes they’re acting like they’re going out of business over almost $9. You have your business in a community filled with minorities and the least you guys can do is provide us with adequate respectful customer service . 0/10 recommend the late night shift attendant that starts at 5 am on Tuesday morning 10/10/23 . Will never be coming back here . Furthermore I will be letting my family and friends know about this horrific experience.
Super expensive. They say coin op machines but they don’t take coins and the lady behind the desk wouldn’t change my coins over for cash. Garbage all on the floor. It’s convenient because it’s 24h but it’s definitely not worth it to me.
I've been here a few times and the first couple of times was pretty good, but then every time I went back I had to deal with this one older Dominican lady who was just nasty and incredibly rude and felt like she didn't want to be there. Every time she's done the cleaning service for us she's forgotten a shirt or two, but this time was the worst. We brought our clothes in last night and she was the one doing them, and when we went to pick up today and came home it turns out we had a mix of some of our clothes and mostly other people. We came back to return the clothing that wasn't ours and it turns out they have no idea where all of our clothes are. We are missing literally more than half of all the clothes we brought. None of the ladies there know where our clothes are. If you look at all the other reviews, everyone has a problem with her. As long as she's working there, I unfortunately don't recommend this place.
I love coming here because it’s 24 hours it’s always clean and machines always working and someone is always here but today I had a bad experience the attendant seen me putting my clothes in the dryers next to the closet where they’ll put peoples folded clothes at so I put my clothes in dryer 65 I go back to get the rest of my clothes mind you non of those signs was on there and she comes and puts temporarily out of order when she knows it’s not plus the guy that fixes your machines was here so if they where out of order he should of fixed them. She wasn’t using them at all and as you see if the picture she is waiting for me to finish so she can put the forth sign on 65. I seen her do this a couple times and then give the machines to her family members when this place is pack today was a pretty decent day and she should have more consideration for people and not do that especially on packed days when people really need the machines. She’s the short Spanish lady with the blond hair. I know customer service and people like that shouldn’t be working for you cause they are taking away from your business. Had to update I guess they all do it now the other lady came in and put the sign on the dryer correction she put it on all of these now
I know believe everyone here has issues with the short old Dominican lady, she has now taken off the handle for the bathroom usage. I had previously had a argument with her not so long ago and this is sincerely my last chance here doing business, either fire the lady or pretty soon those customers will leave.
First time coming here and I must say I was impressed clean machines are big and just liked everything the lady in charge was cordial and explained how everything worked

Beautiful but slightly pricey compared to the one I usually go to,friendly service
I took my clothes so they can get folded and washed while I work a few weeks ago. I picked up my clothing and as I was putting mine and my children's clothing away I noticed we had missing underwear’s, panties, shirts, and socks. I tried calling multiple times and no one answered my phone call. I did not go to the place cause I know my attitude I didn’t want to be disrespectful. But how dare someone think it’s ok to actually take peoples things! I work hard to buy me and my kids what we need! That was nasty, disrespectful, and unprofessional! I even tipped. Doing review so it won’t happen to another person!
24 hour laundromat is very beneficial for those who work a lot and have busy schedules over all. It’s never as packed since you can go eat ash your clothes at any time. The staff is very friendly and they maintain the laundromat clean.
