Medstar at Spring Valley and it’s physicians, especially Dr. Christina Schreiber is the best. I have been a patient of hers for years, her extensive medical knowledge, attentive and caring demeanor, and the professionalism of the staff are unmatched. I trust her and those that accompany her in this practice with my entire family. Thank you for helping us to be and remain well.
Honestly I do not know why I continued to come back to this practice. After my most recent experience I will be looking for a new primary care doctor. I went in on July 25th for an appointment with Dr. Kupar, who is not my primary care doctor you need to book months in advance to see anyone and Dr. Kupar was the only one that had the earliest availability. I think I spoke with him for less than a minute during my initial visit. They have a med student ask you questions that are literally already in your chart. I waited 3 WEEKS FOR RESULTS AND I HAD TO CALL 3 TIMES FOR ANY ANSWERS. Today is the final straw I called this morning around 9am, did not receive a call back so I called again at 3pm. Apparently they had my lab results laying around and the RECEPTIONIST told me my results after tracking down the doctor in the hallway. Can you imagine waiting for 3 weeks and the doctor not even having the decency to go over the lab results? I literally got a bill in the mail for this appointment and for lab work before I got the results. I am actually disgusted with this practice and the doctors that work here should be ashamed. Oh I should also mention that Im still waiting on additional results that were not given to me by the receptionist. Mary is the only kind and understanding employee that works there. I will not be returning and will be filling an official complaint.
Everything was awesome. Intake was fast, the receptionist lady was AMAZING. She was by herself and dealing with so much but she had it down AND was so kind under pressure! The doctor listened and helped me get where I needed, and the phlebotomist was top notch! If you're nervous with doctors and waiting rooms, this is the place to go.
Dr. Alphonse Mehany is simply an excellent primary care physician - clearly knowledgeable and skilled, and he also genuinely cares about his patients and takes time to come up with plans of action to make better health choices. Like I said, excellent!
The staff were all friendly and very professional. Dr. Visconti is very attentive, asks lots of questions, and encourages you to ask questions and for clarification. I am fortunate to have Dr. Visconti as my primary physician.
Dr. Kapur is an excellent & kind physician who is on top of his game & listens to his patients. Staff members Sherie & Aerys, lab tech Ms Lisa, front desk Ms Mary, & office manager Karen were very polite, professional, and kind. Highly recommend to anyone who needs an excellent primary care physician & office to go to! By the way….I’m a physician also, I would know!
Dr. Jabbarpour is great she really listened and gave excellent medical care to my son. She is very knowledgeable, caring and concerned. Spring Valley MedStar Family Medicine the way to go 5
Very happy with 2 recent appointments with Dr Kapoor. He’s very kind and professional and it didn’t feel rushed. Also very happy with a recent virtual appointment with NP Skye. Great team!
The other day wa any forst time seeing a physician at this location. Everyone I encountered was very cheerful and friendly. They all had excellent customer service. Nevertheless the doctor wa shreat got alot of information
