Dr.Mikesell sees me for my Diabetes and genuinely cares about how I'm doing. I've been going there for over 10 years and have never had a problem.
Been coming here on & off for 11 years and super disappointed how this office has been and continues to be run. It’s difficult enough to develop a long standing relationship with a doctor but this office for some reason has lots of turn over and poor training or poor hiring for office staff. Working out billing is exhausting and difficult enough but dealing with rude staff and a policy of non-cooperation is unworkable. All this being said we really like Dr. Haberlee and Nicole the PA. Sadly they seem unaware of what’s going on office wise. We are moving to a different practice.
I just met with Dr. Habel to discuss medication to compliment my recent ADHD diagnosis. She didn't read my ADHD diagnosis report. The closest to that would be her comment, "your answers seem longer than most I've seen." She dismissed my diagnosing Physician's credibility by saying, "I've never met anyone who she -didn't- diagnose." After clarifying that my current medication, Bupropion, wasn't effective for me, she responded, verbatim, "For anxiety, I prescribe Bupropion. For depression, I prescribe Bupropion. And for ADHD, I prescribe Bupropion." She bragged that she's never -had- to prescribe anyone stimulant medication, even though I voiced my dissatisfaction with my current meds. From the jump it felt like she had no intention of looking at my case individually, rather lumping me in with ADHD patients as a whole. I'm not some kid trying to finish a paper. I'm a person, I've been struggling my entire life, and I'm asking for help. It didn't seem she was very interested in listening, though. My nurse was very polite and considerate, walking me through the motions and making good small talk. Mr. Jones has my approval : The check-out receptionist was very rude when asking if I needed to schedule a follow-up. She didn't offer any recommendations for dates or times, throwing her hands up in frustration as I asked questions like when to schedule and who to schedule with. "Family Physicians of Laramie" ironically felt like a very cold, inconsiderate, dismissive office. I can't recommend it to anyone looking to build a meaningful connection with a doctor.
All the staff are very friendly and nice. Dr. Habel awesome. Listen to her patient and encourages questions. Did everything in the clinic including blood work which is very nice, otherwise Im glad i picked this clinic.
the docs here are great. the waiting room staff here are crusty as a loaf of week-old french bread, full of sass, and could desperately use a hug. god bless you folks. the contrast between the docs/nurses and the waiting room staff is jarring.
Absolutely HORRENDOUS practice. I was a Paramedic for 7 years so I am not an outsider in the medical field. The front desk staff was horrible. The nurses were nothing to write home about, and the PA I saw I'll leave her name out of it was extremely snotty and unapproachable. She treated me like I was an idiot, even though I told her about my previous career. They changed my meds which gave me a bad reaction and getting a call back was nearly impossible. Luckily I found Snowy Range Health Center. Amazing how many horrible reviews are on here. I'm shocked.
My experience here was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The nurses did a great job and Nicki Alexander was fabulous. She was knowledgeable and really personable. I just moved here and establishing care here was very easy. The office is professional and up to date. I would recommend this place!
Not the worse clinic, but I would stay away from here or make sure you choose your provider carefully. I got tired of how Stiches does their billing and gave this clinic a try. I will not be going back. They will try to recommend procedures and test that are useless. Be firm with them and understand what treatment options you have. Very unprofessional staff when it comes to patient care. Big plus was their billing staff who understood how TriCare works.
Beware the business practices of this office! I was sent to collections after they mailed my bill to an old address. I asked the receptionist if I should have been given a contact information form to fill out at the time of my visit and she said "yes, we should have done that but we didn't". When discussing the matter with the office manager, she informed me that they actually do not have patients fill out a contact form and that "There's a sign at the receptionist's desk that instructs you to inform them of your contact updates". She went on to sort of lecture me about how they believe it is the patient's responsibility to keep the office's records up to date. She claimed she called and insisted that she'd left messages and I tell you, if I'd received a message that there was an outstanding balance in my name I would have broken my phone trying to get it paid! I do not tolerate unpaid bills! This EXACT scenario happened to my co-worker - the exact same thing - collections and all! There's got to be some sort of benefit for them to turn people into collections - I literally know of no other medical, dental or vision office that does not take it upon themselves to keep their own records up to date.
I have been trying to get a follow up appointment after a fairly serious diagnosis at the ER and ended up being late for an appointment I was told was 10 minutes later than what they had down for me in their system. I tried to reschedule this appointment and was instead informed that I magically had another missed appointment back in August of which I have absolutely no recollection of needing. So instead of politely arranging another appointment I was told how much I would owe if I missed another, despite the fact that I showed up for the appointment that I was late for because they told me the wrong time. I won't be going back. The only reason they get two stars is that I was somewhat happy with my services from their physicians.
