Hand decorated, edible party favors for any event! Can match invites, themes, logos or make an idea of your own come to life on a tasty treat!
This whole cookie "thing" started out merely by mistake . . eh . . as I was taught by my wonderful friend so I could make my own party favors for my kids birthday parties. I love to match my desserts and décor and always had a "theme" for each of my kids parties. So, as my lovely friend took a weekend to show me her skills, I started making cookies for EVERYTHING I could think of! I would see a billboard and think, I could make a cookie of that. Looking through magazines of birthday parties I got excited thinking of how many options there were and wanted to make a cookie to match each one! My coworkers, friends and family really believed in me and had me make cookies for them and that is how it all started. From then to now, it has all been word of mouth and have been fortunate to be busy all year round. If things go as planned in my dreams and visions I will have a shop in the near future with lovely people helping me do all the extras (behind the scenes work, like preparation, baking, etc) that is truly the part I could pass up. Just give me a blank cookie and let me use it as a canvas! :) Setting up this page gives me a chance to display my work into separate albums for easy viewing, limiting each album to around 100 photos. People have asked many times if I had a website or fb page and until now I didn't have any means of showing my past work, other than on my personal page. Here it is, divided into albums, starting from my earliest work to my latest. Now, as I was uploading, there were many I wanted to skip past because of the poor decorating (eek . . did I really do that?) but it is a beginning and that's where it all started. As with anything in life, the more you do, the more passion you have for what you do, the better you get. So, I'm always checking other "cookiers" out to see what they do and sometimes we confer back and forth with new ideas. What works for some may not work for others. I continue to teach myself with new techniques as I watch YouTube videos, google and research the newest designs in cookie art. As I started, cookies were all that I decorated but have moved onto making cake pops as well. I enjoy doing both as they give me the chance to be creative while serving a purpose too . . . a delicious treat to eat! Thank you for visiting my page!
**One last thing ~ I want to give a shout out to my wonderful, beautiful friend who taught me the skills to get started, ANGELA (FORD) SMITH . . you are an amazing soul and an inspiration!**
