1st issue is there is no phone number to communicate with anyone. 1nd issue is that we sent in a 45 day old 3D WOX printer to have the LCD screen repaired as it was not displaying properly. Once we got the printer back, whoever had taken it apart broke many of the retaining clips for the side panels, put it back together misaligned, and the front door no longer shuts properly. GARBAGE Work.
It’s unfortunate that I even have to give them one star. One of the most unprofessional places that I have ever worked with. Their technicians were snarky and condescending in their response, they tried to blame me for setting up the printer incorrectly when it came from the factory the way it did, they moved my BLTouch sensor to an incorrect location which caused further failed prints ignored multiple inquiries into why the sensor was moved and if it was placed correctly, and then remained adamant that they were correct even when proven wrong. Don’t waste your money with this joke of an establishment, unless of course you want to pay someone to else to fix their “fix”.
Horrible communication. Initial contact about repairing our printer was in November and we still have not received our printer back. Here's a breakdown of the timeline: Nov. 22 - sent in a request for repair with description of issue over site Nov. 24 - replied with service process & rates. Told there would be a two week lead time from receipt of printer. Dec. 12 - Our 3D printer arrived at their facility Jan. 13 - I had to email them requesting an update on our 3D printer They replied same day with the quote and a request to approve to repair. I replied that as I was awaiting approval from my supervisor, I wanted a few questions answered regarding the procedure of diagnosing as well as what tests they run afterwards to ensure the issues were fixed. The last I heard from them was Jan. 16 and even after following up 3 times since then in 3 weeks, even with attaching an approval for the services, they have not replied and still have our printer. Other negatives to note: Don't provide any phone number or contact information other than the support email. ----- Update: 2/19/2020 We just received our printer back, UNREPAIRED. Fargo 3D Printer Repair replied immediately after I left this review. They admitted that: "It is our general practice not to reply to a customer's approval email, but rather move their printer to the next open position in the approved queue on a first in first out basis." So in their words, they purposely lack communication & justified this review on their communication alone. Also they replied that they would waive the diagnostics fees and just send the printer back as-is unrepaired but I continuously insisted that we'll pay the fees we originally agreed upon and just fix the printer, since we've waited months just for this service. They complained that my review was "unfair" because I wasn't reviewing the quality of their work and so I even offered to pay for the services so I could update the review to do so. Unfortunately, they repeatedly refused to fix our printer. I even asked if I could pay for the replacement part and have them ship it separately so we can fix it in house but they didn't even accept that & just sent links for places to make us find one ourselves. As a customer, I felt disappointed in both their communication practices and how they handled the situation afterwards. They do not take criticism well and cut their losses immediately rather than attempt to fix the issues, no matter how accommodating you try to be.
Sent additional email yesterday. I recieved the replacement screws and tried putting the print head back together. The screws seem to be too big in diameter. The nut sent also does not fit on the screws. I really need to get back up and running. Please respond back to email. I can improve score once issue is dmfully resolved. Update 1/4/2021 Got word back from Fargo that correct missing parts were sent out. Hoping to be able to get up and running soon.
Told them what modifications I had made to my printer, and what problems I was having. They said they would be able to fix it, and asked me to ship it to their offices. I inquired about dropping it off instead. They emailed me back and said that they weren't going to work on my printer, because of the modifications I had made. The mods I have made are the most extremely basic modifications that are present on nearly every printer. I wanted a simple tune, and they weren't able to do that. I'm now spending my precious 1 hour of free time I have after work, to do the work myself. Not happy about a repair shop that refuses to perform basic tune and repair services for paying customers.
We had problems with our Raise3D N2 printer right out of the box and struggled to get it to print right. Finally we decided to seek professional help. Fargo 3D Printer Repair had it fixed and tuned up in no time! We have now been printing with it for about 6 months, and I can hardly believe the difference! Everything just works the way it is supposed to. No more babysitting every print, waiting for it to fail. We have run 30-40 hour print jobs with out any issues. Thank you Fargo 3D Printer Repair!
The stepper motor for the x axis on my CR-10 made a horrid grinding noise and wouldn't move properly at all. The techs at Fargo 3D Printer Repair figured it out and had my printer back up and running in a short time.
Great staff and service. Very easy to work with and replied right away. My Prusa MK3 worked great when I got it back.
