Farmers State Bank of Hartland is a 105 year old full service bank committed to serving the diverse needs of our local community of Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. In 2013 two bank employees negotiated the purchase from a local family that has owned the bank for over half a century. The Founders raised over $7 million of local capital; completing the bank acquisition in April of 2014. They see a bright future for community banking; with a large number of diverse owners, a talented staff and committed leadership, the bank will work towards becoming the bank and employer of choice in Freeborn County and beyond.
