Farmington Martial Arts is a very modern martial art based on principles derived from the martial arts of Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Tang Soo Do, Jiu-jitsu, Judo, Choi Kwang-Do, and Kickboxing.
The Farmington Martial Arts system was developed by ten martial artists seeking to combine their knowledge to improve self-defense techniques and training methods. This group, called the Farmington Martial Arts Leadership Team, boasts over 150 years of martial arts experience. Constant improvement and additions are made to the Farmington Martial Arts system through research and continued training of the Leadership Team. All techniques are natural and stress-free, greatly reducing the risk of injury.
Though they look very impressive, many traditional movements are difficult to learn and unrealistic in actual self-defense situations. The techniques in the Farmington Martial Arts system are simple and easy to learn.
