Farpoint, at Renaissance Academy in Lehi, Utah, is a STEM space and science fiction program open to all students from age 8 to 17.
Renaissance Academy is the home of a new Space Education Center called FARPOINT.
FARPOINT is Utah’s most respected experiential learning program, a fun and effective learning approach that traces its roots to Mr Victor Williamson’s 6th grade class in the 1980’s.
Mr. Williamson is bringing his experience and vision of simula on educa on to Renaissance Academy, where he will be teaching and working as director of the new Farpoint Ins tute!
We offer merit badge classes, simlabs, computer programming guild, anima on guild, and the Long Duration Missions (LDMs), which are episodic missions stretching over several months. Students will form their own flight teams and earn points for how well the team performs in the mission.
