It provides valuable connection to the ballona creek path through the Jackson street gate. Very nice!
It absolutely was an entrance from the east to the Culver City/Los Angeles Speedway. In the old overhead photoss you can see the path into the racetrack where Revere and Jackson form a gore point. I'm pretty sure it's held as a right of way by the city or county if they ever want to run farragut all the way though or as an access to utilities. Why three stars, It's not very charming, not very well lit at night and almost always dirty. Walking downtown, it isn't a short-cut just route choice. It's nothing to go out of your way to see a one block long piece of concrete.
very cool and helpful, would recommend to anyone except perhaps those with a wheelchair larger than 3 feet across. Has anyone ever tried monkeybarring the Bars before? Because I would like to see that.
Super cool and fun connection between two streets. Great for connecting the neighborhood and makes going out for a quick run much easier to navigate.
Probably one of the best connectors I’ve ever seen. Can’t believe how well it connects two streets.
BEST BARS MAN. I hid there once as a kid. Highly recommend, you're welcome.
There's a rumor that this was an entrance to the old racetrack. My research using old photos can't confirm or deny this rumor. It's driving me nuts.
Great connector
Very peaceful
