Fast Eddie's MOAB

Wife and I had dinner here. Good burger, patty melt and Oreo shake. Iced tea is from the fountain, not brewed. Fries were just okay. Both our drinks were forgotten when the order came up. They have eight pinball machines. Lots of antique decorations inside. Crazy big fish in a tank. Overall a good place. We will try again someday soon.

I was craving old school drive-in food. I couldn’t think of a better place here in Modesto than an original Grafitti Era drive-in, Fast Eddies MOAB!! I had The Mega MOAB which is two hand pressed 1/4 pound seasoned patties, mayonnaise, mustard, American cheese, swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a sesame seed bun. I ordered a large fries that were seasoned perfectly! I also had a strawberry shake and an Indigeny Hard Cider. The service here is fantastic and everything was delicious!

Good food, absolutely terrible service. They messed up my pre paid pickup order and I didn't know til I got home. I called them and told them about their mistakes. They said come back down we'll make it right. I waited longer than I did the first time when I picked up my order. After 30 MINUTES they come to the window and have the audacity to ask me "what did you have again?" Awful disorganized management and kitchen staff. Food is good but NOT WORTH putting up with the service. STAY AWAY.

I ordered the MOAB with Cheese, at 7:00 I was told 10- 15 min and because I do live close was there to pay by 7:03 according to phone and the time stamp on the receipt. I honestly think they gave me a old burger. I was surprised when I paid that it was done. I live right around the corner. The bottom of the bun was wet, like dipped in water wet all around the edges the middle was still damp but not the disgusting wet dough that when I first picked up was so shocked. I am not proud but it was 15$ and I was starving so I did try to eat it. I hate taking food back I hate wasting money. I got out of class late and was starving. Most horrible burger I have ever had. At least I did get my money back. Also not a fan of the seasoning on the fries. Place used to be really good.

As my husband is a connoisseur of western burgers, he got the western and was suitably impressed! Really good burgers and the shakes were great too. The interior has so many decorations, there's loads to look at - it's an eclectic mix! Friendly staff too who talked us through some of the menu. Great food.pristine outside and on...dining,game and restroom areas all comfy. Generous portions and welcoming staff. Love the pinball area..all the machines worked every time I'm there plus they're clean and new titles with music while you play. See you there. I recommend the burger with fries and the root beer float.mmmm!! Dietary restrictions: I saw a guy eating something that looked yummy,so I asked what it was..he gave me a closeup and showed me it was a burger minus the bun...it seriously looked really good and not messy.

Fries were as good as Eddie's. Onion rings were tops too. Burger Bun was different style than Eddie's. Not quite as good. Toasting was not well done & tasted different from the classic MOAB. I like the new outdoor furniture! Indoors is classic with THE FISH. The restroom is a huge upgrade Eddie did that. I love the inside dining vibe. There seemed to be a pinball tourney going on our entire dinner, so it was hard to hear & our senior group didn't want to sit outside on a gorgeous Modesto evening 6/21. Go figure! Didn't recognize any of the staff Miss the ladies. Been going there since 1965 on my bike.

Been trying to try new places for guy I work with at J's Smoke Shop on W. Orangeburg Ave..... he is seriously interested in good food. I remembered Fast Eddie's and ordered him some and he was very happy. He had his very first rootbeer float from there also. Great food and great staff.Food: 5/5

The service was really good. The kid was really shy but really nice. The food was really good, fresh and hot. Priced fairly. It's a small place with lots of old school stuff to keep your eyes busy. The atmosphere is chill. The staff was really attentive. Try it. Kid-friendliness: Nice little place with a couple of arcade video games. Has a big fish tank with a few big fishes. Has a bunch of stuff on the walls to keep you looking around. Kids love burgers and fries. Parking: Plenty. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Ground level parking and entrance.
