Description

We're a lounge-dance club-bar hybrid. Think of us as a private party with a cash bar. The party is open Fridays and Saturdays only, from 10pm 'til 2am.

"With over 40 years of experience in the food & beverage industry, including two culinary degrees, Brady & Ashley Hibner decided to put their skills to the test and go into business for themselves doing what they have always had the passion of doing. In January of 2018, they opened the doors to Fat Tuesday Sandwich Shop & Bakery and haven’t looked back since.Their goal is to prepare as much of the menu from scratch, only using the highest quality ingredients, while providing top notch customer service inside of our Louisiana/Mardi Gras Theme sandwich shop."

First visit on 9/9/23. Food and service were great. We’ll definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Came in for a lunch break, quick and delicious! Highly recommend what I tried on the recommendation of the cashier at the counter: the Cajun chicken cordon bleu!Recommended dishesPotato Salad
Went for lunch around 1140ish and they were slammed. Cranked quite a few sandwiches and salads out with only a small wait. The French Dip sandwich was tasty - the bread dunked in the sauce especially - but even with all the cheese and dunking it, the meat was too dry. Overall really good flavor, I would just request half the cheese and hope for a better scoop of meat. The Cajun Potato Salad was flavorful too, but the baby food consistency is not for me. I'd pass considering it's an upcharge. They offer a large variety of cheesecake. The toffee slice was good but not as creamy and decadent as I was hoping for. My friend ordered their Cajun sandwich and was pleased with the spice. On a separate note...disappointed they only honor the police/military discount if you specifically ask - even if you're standing in uniform. And when I did ask, the cashier made it seem like a chore. Weird attitude for a restaurant that has a discount.
I enjoyed the Deli Supreme Poyboy. Wow what sandwich!! Took two hands to start. The red beans and rice were extremely tasty. The ladies were great and when you walk in they were quick to suggest something from the menu and the days special.Food: 5/5
The employees are just as wonderful as the food is! They truly care about their customers; will be back every time I'm in the area! Highly recommend-all the food and sweets!Food: 5/5
This is one of my favorite places to eat! It's one of those spots that locals only know about but is honestly one of the best places to eat in town! The bread pudding is the absolute best I've ever had! I would highly recommend them!Food: 5/5
Really delicious. Homemade bread, well made sandwiches. It’s just a shame that their prices have increased so much over the years. 3 years ago, the #1 was 8.59. 1 year ago, 12.79. This year, 14.99 these prices were pulled from Google review photos. I know inflation is crazy, but those price hikes seem exorbitant, particularly because of the humble location and counter service.
Went for lunch and there was no wait. It's small inside so you may or may not be able to enjoy your meal at one of the tables, but there is seating outside behind the building. We had paw paw's pb&j which comes grilled, muffaleta melt, and Cajun Cobb. Listen...that salad was lunch AND dinner! Somehow my husband finished his sandwich and while he enjoyed it, he said it was nothing like the muffaletta we shared in the French quarter ‍. He doesn't even like olives. He demolished that sandwich, you hear me?! I love me a good salad, and this Cobb didn't disappoint! You can also drive through for service. It's probably my new favorite spot!
Gotta love Fat Tuesday's! We've been a few times and it's great but we'd never had any of the cold sandwiches so today we had the shrimp remoulade poboy. Actually we split it and had Cajun potato salad and the cole slaw. Excellent! The poboy was full of Cajun crab salad and steamed shrimp on top of lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles with a tasty dressing both on the bun and on top. Hard to actually say how amazing this sandwich is but I usually want sandwiches got hot. This was totally out of bounds, great bread they bake daily, amazing crab salad, superb shrimp which pegged the flavor meter. Yummy! We topped it off by sharing half of a sandwich sized brownie also made in house. To good, and sinful. You will not be disappointed. Wish I had taken pictures of the sandwiches before we ate them but they didn't last that long. Side bar - try their muffaletta.
This was a great hole-in-the-wall restaurant to eat at. I came for chicken spaghetti and found it was only a Tuesday special. So, I ordered a salad that the cashier recommended and it was really good. It is a smaller restaurant, every table was full when I was there, and the atmosphere is busy. The wait was average. The salad and drink came out to $20, but it was loaded. It is connected with a Discount Tobacco store and parking is tight. However, the service and food were awesome and I will come again!!
