Fatback’s was the idea of three friends (and their beautiful wives) who shared a love of
backyard barbeque and good times with family and friends, and it isn’t your traditional
barbeque restaurant. We don’t want it to be. Sure, we have the tried and true classics, but we wanted to throw a couple of curve balls at you just to keep it interesting. You won’t find a
hundred items on our menu and you won’t have to worry that we got rid of your favorite
“sammich” while you were on vacation last week. We know we don’t need someone sitting in a corporate office in Texas telling us what folks in Dothan like. What you will find is a menu
designed with your happiness in mind. We are keeping it simple so that we can get it right a
hundred percent of the time. We know that just because it sounds or looks fancy, doesn’t
mean it’s good, and we hope to give our community something fresh and new while keeping
with the traditions that make southeast Alabama such a wonderful place to be.
If you’re like us, there’s nowhere you’d rather be than in your favorite pair of flip-flops, relaxing in a back yard lawn chair with smoke coming from the grill, the smell of something delicious floating in the air and the laughter of family and friends in the background. It reminds us that no matter how crazy this world gets, we can always count on the simple things in life to bring us back down to earth. We created Fatback’s to share all of this with you, and we want you to remember that you are always welcome in our back yard.
