super yummy! this was one of the best injera platters I've had in the u.s. for sure! we got the injera platter for two no meat, the kenyan chai tea and the two vegetarian samosa options we liked the lentil one better!. a must try for vegetarians! i would also really recommend getting the chapatiFood: 5/5
Food was amazing. The place is very simple but all clean, Fatima work alone with her husband but the service is fast and the food freshFood: 5/5
Awesome food, I absolutely love their lamb with the fresh paratha/chapati flat bread. The other food items are good too. Do try their chai and deserts. Its a small family run business. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.Food: 5/5
I came to Fatima’s Cafe never having tried east African food before and let me tell you… IT WAS LIFE CHANGING!!! I got the Ugali with Sukuma add chicken, the Ethiopian Anjero Platter and the Samosas all three types they offer ‘Beef, Spicy Lentil, & Mixed Veggies’. The collared greens which I had never tried before as well WERE INCREDIBLE… so much so that i bought a side order to go! The ugali and sukuma was to DIE FOR!! An absolute taste sensation EVERY bite and very filling!! If you are looking to expand your palate and try new cuisine, Fatima’s Cafe is A MUST in Worcester. The service was very inviting and you can tell the food is made with love at every step. Absolutely amazing and BLEW MY SOCKS OFF…AND I WAS WEARING SANDALS!! Thank you so much!! I will most definitely be coming back again with friends and family!!!
the food was 12/10 and the atmosphere was very inviting, the family that owned it was friendly and made excellent menu suggestions as I had never been there before. absolutely delicious, will be returning! Vegetarian options: there were vegetarian option available and he was sure to ask if we were vegetarian before we ordered
We do not have african food in our area so we decided to go Worcester to try something new. Oh boy it didn't disappoint. Probably the best samosas I ever had, could have bought more if I knew the first one. Tried the platter and it was damn good. It is also nice place and the owner is really friendly.
The food was good, tasted like homemade food. We ordered the vegetarian platter, it was on the blander side, could do with some more flavor. What was disappointing was that the Anjero platter just contained 2 vegetables. There were multiple helpings of the same stuff - I was expecting atleast 4-5 different items rather of multiple helpings of the same items. The Samosas were better and the chilli dip with them was excellent. Service was a miss. Ordered a side of the roti and bread, wasn’t very good. The doughnuts were very good.
Omar and his wife Fatima are so friendly and this a great small family owned restaurant. They are happy to just chat with you if you there. One of my favorite restaurants in Worcester. Food is very flavorful and comforting. Meat samosas were yummy and make sure to get their "hot sauce" which was great. It's spicy and sorta similar to a salsa Verde. Ethiopian platter was good for two but I'd also recommend getting an extra side of anjero bread which another reviewer pointed out. Their Ugali and anjero are my favorite, but I've tried almost everything on their menu and love it all.
Fatima's cafe had great service, made our order quickly and the food was delicious.Food: 5/5
Delicious, flavorful, and hot food! Super good! I had a beef stew with two vegetable stews and the bread to go with it. The beef stew was AMAZING! So flavorful and tasty! We also got three other dishes which were also all flavorful and tasted very good. All of the dishes were made right to order, nice and hot. The man taking our order was super nice and kind. I recommend coming here if you want really good food! They’re only doing take out right now, so just walk up to the window and order there or order ahead.
