Authentic fresh quality shawarma and the rice is great too!! I couldn’t take a pic first it’s so good!! $7.00 lunch special can’t beat thatFood: 5/5
This used to be our go to place!!! We went several times a month. After they closed down and reopened under new management, we wanted to give it a try again. Tried twice, absolutely will not be back. The food quality went WAY down. The chicken was no good. The customer service was absolutely terrible. So sad to see such an amazing place turn into what it has.
Apparently this place is under new ownership, and the food quality has diminished significantly. I paid $10 for Sujuk only for it to be incredibly small, dry, overcooked, and flavorless. Absolutely shameful in comparison to what used to be served here. I wish I could have my $10 back, it would’ve been more satisfying to go to a drive thru place. That’s how bad it is now. Smh this place used to be so good. I get that there’s a new owner. and everyone cooks differently but with that being said they need to at least lower the prices to match the quality of the food they’re serving up now. The food I received should’ve cost $4 not $10.
My husband and I used to love this restaurant, it was our favorite place to get great vegetarian food that was quality, fresh, and had good flavor. We visited yesterday and ordered dinner after not dining there in quite a while. Now under new management, the place looked pretty sad inside. However, the food was the real issue. Fattoush salad was dismal - obviously just bagged mixed salad, not fresh romaine at all, and instead of fresh pita chips these were pretty much stale and toasted pieces of pita. Both of our wraps had tomatoes we picked out because they were more white than red, and honestly tasted frozen. They also mixed a bunch of parsley into my falafel sandwich, which made the flavor taste totally off. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back here to eat and I wouldn't recommend anyone else go either. The food quality is just really bad for the price of dining out.
Can't believe this place has been here for a few years, but I'm glad I got a chance to try it out! Love their garlic sauce, fattoush salad, baba ganoosh & chicken shawarma sandwich! I like how they grill the sandwich wrap so it's crispy. And their Sami Seasoning is super yummy too they used this all over the wrap & on the chicken in the fatoosh salad. Looking forward to coming back.
Used to be my go to place for chicken shawarma, I will not be ordering from here again. The lentil soup tasted odd, rice wasn’t cooked, and the chicken is sub par at best. I hope the new management can get it turned around. I’ll give them this, they got the order right, but at $24 a meal they better.
We placed and order for several items on the menu to try different things, and we were not disappointed with any of the items. Everything was delicious! Our favorite was the falafel quesadilla, and the chicken shawarma. We love the many different vegan options they offer. Also the lemon pepper fries were amazing!
I had the Shish Kabob dinner and my wife had the Fattoush Salad w/grilled chicken take out. The food was outstanding with very generous portions. I'll be back soon!!!Food: 5/5
This restaurant is under new ownership and there seems to be a lack of transparency about that. The food quality has dropped significantly and is not similar to the previous owners. I ordered a shawarma sandwich, falafel appetizer, and side of garlic sauce. The shawarma was small with very little chicken or pickles on it. The falafel was too doughy and the tahini sauce tasted off and lacked flavor. Previous owner's still have a location at 15 and Mound, I think I will give that a shot rather than come here again.
Editing my review. Under new ownership now and the portions have shrunk and the quality of the food has dropped drastically. Food seems under seasoned.Food: 1/5
