Beautiful quiet library for all ages. We’re visiting from Dallas, TX and came across this wonderful library while discovering NWA. Highly recommended if you have a little one and you want a place with a lot of activities for them to do. There’s plenty of book and chairs for them to sit and read. There are plenty of computers with a lot of learning activities like learning the alphabet, math, and even basic concept of coding games. There is a deli shop as well but we didn’t get a chance to try it. It seems healthy and has a lot of healthy options. There’s a lot of windows which makes the library have a lot of natural sunlight. Our little one loved it, we’ll definitely be back.
Excellent downtown library! Lots of parking in lots, street, and free garage. Has a coffee bar and Cafe. I use the free study rooms often. 2 floor sections for kids/teen. Amazing free programs for the community every month. Also has balconies with swings and lots of comfy reading spots. Love this place!
Wonderful Library. Beautiful relaxing , great place to take the kids ! They love it. The staff is always wonderful ! The restrooms are always clean and available. They have games to go play in the little diner/coffee shop they have there ! Love studying there and checking out books. They have a great book policy , and they have amazing resources available ! Go check it out !!!!
Love the Fayetteville Public Library! Aside from the books, they have amazing artwork hung throughout the building. The children’s library and programs are all fantastic, lots of weekly activities to bring kids of all ages to do. My kids love the summer reading program. The Center for Innovation is awesome with all the tech they have from driving simulations to the podcasting booth.
Lots of great spaces to ready and study - very clean, bright, quiet and peaceful. Lots of public spaces and some rooms available to reserve. They have great views to soak up indoors or outside! The grounds are well cared for and there is outdoor seating chairs, shaded swings, etc. so you can enjoy the fresh air. Free parking on-site in a clean parking garage. Staff is very friendly!
This library is amazing! They just finished the addition for children and teens and it looks great! We walked around and really enjoyed all that this public library has to offer... from reading rooms and nooks, to a dance studio, innovative rooms, and a lot more. You’ll want to stop by and see this! It’s great for our community! Can’t wait to visit in the spring when the weather is warmer and sit outside with a good book. Great view of the surrounding area as well!! Check it out
I plan a lot of events all over the world … and I have to say the team at the Fayetteville Public Library is one of the best I’ve worked with! Everyone worked so hard to make Fayetteville Roots Fest a success! Sam and his team were incredible! Thank you! Top-notch facility!
I love this library. They make checking out and returning books very convenient. The events for children are wonderful! The kids section has toys and an environment you feel welcome in. They have a large beautiful building and the small food joints inside are kind and taste good. The app is super helpful and the staff can help with anything the app can't.
I've been frequenting the Fayetteville Public Library since the old Dickson Street location, where I volunteered at as a teenager. I am glad that the new renovation provides much more study space and fully separates the adult and children's sections. I do wish there was a direct staircase from the building to the rear parking lot where City Hospital used to be without having to detour onto the main sidewalk and use the awkwardly placed diagonal path from that sidewalk to the parking lot. Also, the scooter parking in the rear parking lot is very inconveniently placed and makes navigation in the parking lot hard.
The very best library I've ever been to in my life. The size and what it offers is absolutely untouched. The staff is also beyond nice and helpful. Even if you don't come for books, there's plenty of other things to see and enjoy. You HAVE to stop in here if you're in the area.
