It was not open to public today but I was able to freely walk all around where I wanted to outside the building. It is a must see and the river is beautiful.

This quaint Nature museum was built in 1935. Several nice locations to have a picnic along the Feather river. The entrance is located at the Montgomery Street Roundabout in Oroville.
You can't generally go inside. But it's right on the river and has picnic tables and hiking trails.
I didn't even go inside, but so cool to walk and drive around! Hopefully they have a better restroom inside the Bath House, but that has limited hours. The one I took a picture of is pretty horrible as you can see and the door did not lock when I was there.
Beautiful place, love the lil tables and seating areas around the Bath House
It is an educational and cute history lesson. Young kids will not enjoy, but 10+ will be able to take away some info and knowledge. Was very cool. My 12 yr old liked the animal skins and the crystals the best.
Nice peaceful park and trails. The museum was a nice surprise.
Fun little hike around the water. Glad to see it cleaned up a bit.
I remember visiting as a child for a feild trip I believe it was. I remember it was nice. I think. It was a long time ago... But my most recent trip there I was with my husband & my 3 yr old. Ever since our oldest started kindergarten & has been gone full days we been looking for things to do with our youngest to get out of the house. Well we went to the nature center to go for a lil hike stopped at the bath house & the doors wer locked. Disappointing. I guess I get it. With all the homeless that hangout around there nowadays. But I wanted to show my son. At least he could see the outside & climb the stairs. I guess. He's 3 so even stairs are fun for him lol.
