The Teacher Store provides free classroom and student school supplies to teachers in pre-approved Title 1 schools to shop near our three locations.
A good education is key to a bright future.
But without the right tools, children face incredible odds. That’s why many teachers are willing to reach into their own pockets to provide educational materials for their students. Sadly, the costs can get overwhelming. That’s why Feed The Children opened the Teacher Store in 2010. The goal is to reach as many Pre-K through 12th-grade students as possible by providing books and educational materials to full time teachers in the local public school district.
Who is Eligible?
You must be an active, certified, full-time teacher in a classroom and be employed by a pre-approved school district. Support staff, student teachers, and paraprofessionals are not eligible. Approved teachers will be able to shop once a month from the store on designated shopping days. The approved teachers will be required to show identification upon check-in to verify their eligibility. The FTC reusable tote bags will be required on each visit.
Feed The Children's mission is providing hope and resources for those without life’s essentials. At the Teacher Store, we help teachers working with students trapped in poverty to reach their full potential.
