Fellowship Foods is a locally owned CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)
What is a local food
subscription program?
It’s a way to benefit your local economy, your area farmers and your health. More and more, people around the country are turning to their local farmers for good, healthy food that hasn’t been shipped thousands of miles in a truck. Some go to their neighborhood farmers’ market, but there’s another
great option, and we’re pleased to be bringing it to you. A local food subscription program allows you to become a customer of local farms and have their products delivered to a convenient location near you. Subscribers can order a box of fruits, vegetables, eggs, and meats. The cost can be as low as $16.50 a week for a box sized for one adult. Fruit and vegetable boxes are filled with produce grown on local farms and vary from week to week and season to
season. Each box is packed for you and contains produce at the height of freshness. Vegetable, eggs, and meat boxes, are also packed for you and are available year round. Fruit subscriptions begin the last week of July and end the last week of October. Our a la carte menu allows you to order your beef, pork, and chickens in individual cuts. These items can also be ordered any time of the year. Pickup locations are available throughout the Pittsburgh area.
We are a community supported agriculture program that supplies locally produced groceries to local people on a flexible subscription basis.
