Memorial Gym was...a gym. Nothing especially stood out in a positive or negative way. If there was anything I considered noticeable, it was clean and no "gym odor". Usual hard bleachers. I was there to watch my granddaughter participate in JROTC competition. Unfortunately, the gym was not equipped with a microphone so it was difficult to hear a large part of the ceremony. It did, however, provide the necessary space for the competition. Proud to say my granddaughter and her school's JROTC, Bangor High School, won the majority of trophies.
Got lost inside while going to a high school track meet. No employees were on staff to help incoming viewers. The meets started time was changed, running early. No public notice was sent out. Overall, the building was clean, large, and has one of the few indoor pools open to the public with paid admission in the area.
Great place to have an event, bathrooms were small but it was clean and easy to navigate parking and entrances.
Very good. Set a mile pr at 5:53. The track is very fast
Great place for student athletes at the University to practice and call home
Its not really a gym. This is where they have rotc training and where external orgs/schools have events/tournaments/races but its not actually a gym you can work out in.
Fun day watching high school track meet.
Best gym. If I could give it 69 stars I would.
Love this place, but when you are attending an event and want something to eat, you have to stand in lobby freezing to death because the vendors, who are also freezing, are placed by the door.
