Field of Screams Maryland was amazing!! Made for a fun night of thrill and scares! The beginning area is fun with the bonfires, concessions and haunted house. It was a nice little intro to the night ahead. The trail was MUCH better than I anticipated! The decorations and themes were so well thought out. The actors did a great job of startling you. Definitely worth it! Check this place out before Halloween is over!
Went there for the winter lights been a few years since I did the Halloween event it was blistering cold the night I went so one recommendation is bundle up if it's cold that night as you will be outside for at least an hour. Parking was easy and when you enter there a bunch of fires to warm up and sit for a little while in front of the tree. Also near the fires they have food and drinks pizza, snack funnel cake popcorn, hot chocolate and stuff like that once you start the event its a nice walk with plenty of places to stop and take a picture with lighting decor. All in all and fun winter even with spouse, friends or family.
My husband and I went to FOSMD last year, 2021, and had a blast. We enjoyed the carnival games and photo opportunities. The house and trail were scary, imo, and it was fun catching up to another couple who we ended up walking the trail with. I am hoping my step kids will be up for it this year! Definitely recommend.
Field of sighs more like it! Overpriced with no scares. I arrived at 920 for a 930 ticket and didn’t get to the trail until 1205am. The trail is 45 minutes at least and everyone gets bunched up so you’ll see the few scared there are ahead of u if the actors aren’t as tired as they appeared. Lines 1-2 hours and I’d almost tell you to skip the haunted house—it’s just stupid and short for at least an hour line. I go to a ton of haunted houses and this was the worst in terms of bang for your buck. I will say people were rather behaved, I felt safe with all the police, and parking was easy as the only redeeming factors. Just take that money to go to universal horror nights—same price some nights.
Had a lot of fun! We went fairly early in the season, so there weren’t a lot of crowds or lines. Parking was easy and close to the grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. The slaughterhouse was okay, not too scary. The haunted trail was great with decent scares. The trail is more so a series of mini haunted houses, and several of the houses don’t have actual actors, but at times the anticipation of someone jumping out was just as scary! Though it would be nice to utilize actors in some of the empty houses. Overall had a great time!
Went with my friend and her little cousins on Halloween night. We had a fun time. I'd say we spent about a total of an hour and 20 min there. We had the 7pm slot so it wasn't crazy crowded. Lines were short and moved quickly. Staff was super friendly and clear on rules. The trail could use more actors but it was scary enough. Def a workout. $50 seems steep but considering everything that goes into that kind of attraction, it's reasonable. Would return next year.
I enjoyed myself. Went as a group of 16 adults. The entry line appears long but moves pretty quickly. Make sure to do the waiver b4 you arrive. The lines for the haunted house, the food, and haunted trail all moved at a decent pace. The staff was very accommodating to keep our large group together by breaking us into 2 smaller groups of 8 for the actual trail hike. Be prepared to hike 50 - 60 minutes as they advise up front. The only "complaint" was there truly wasn't anywhere to store purses or bags so come with just your essentials that fit into pockets. Overall, it was all well organized but not terribly super scary. Good make up, costumes, and jumpy moments. Have Fun!!
Super fun. The trail was one of the best experiences of Halloween events. Went last year and am hoping to go again this year! The actors and actresses are amazing, talented and high energy. Definitely recommend it for a night of fun for the family and a fantastic experience of the Halloween terror Raffle Winner !
Field of screams is the place to be during the month of October! Trail of terror will definitely have you screaming and wishing you could skip to the end! Plenty of food options and bonfires are great for roasting s’mores and keeping warm. Great vibes all around, if you haven’t gone yet then you’re missing out!
Totally recommend it! I had an excellent time with my cousins. Just be mindful of the weather. I would recommend to bundle up in warm clothing as it can get chilly at night. Also, buy your tickets in advance! Overall a great time and the perfect Halloween attraction.
