I have been twice to this place specially for the Karaoke. Bertha the dj karaoke is a very nice lady with her partner. Unfortunately the service and the food Sucks! You better go with an empty stomach. Because the waitresses expect you to order food or they would charge for a cover charge of 25 dollars per person. I never was informed about that. And never was for e to eat to be at a karaoke bar. The Aguas frescos were 6 bucks and the tasted like urine. The wItress was constantly bugging us saying that the owner wanted us to order food. The witness had eyashes the looked like horse and a ridiculous bun that looked like Donut. So be aware!
Me and my husband came to this place with our 2 little girls on a Tuesday about a month ago for lunch. Let me just say, I have never had such terrible service at a restaurant in my life! We walked in and the place was empty to begin with. It was a bit dark and the place just looked so sad ! We were not immediately greeted but was approached by an elderly woman who was I guess the waitress. She kindve just looked at us and didnt say anything. And the first thing she said was yes, how can I help you but as if we were needing something not as if we were there to eat. So we let her know we wanted to dine in. And she asked if we wanted the buffet. We let her know it was our first time there and didn’t know what was available. She just made the whole situation awkward. We should have just left at that point! But we finally were seated near the entrance at a table that wasn’t even cleaned and she sat us as she was cleaning it. She brought out the salsa and chips terrible! No flavor to the salsa at all ! we ordered our food eventually and the food was also not good! For it just being us at the restaurant our food took FOREVER to arrive! And we never saw the waitress in between or even after she brought us our food and drinks. I almost wanted to cancel our order while we were waiting but we felt bad to get up and leave as they were already making our food! We waited probably 15-20 min before I decided to go approach the waitress who had been sitting at another section of the restaurant with a couple of other workers. The woman had the nerve to ask “you want to leave already, so fast”?? YES! Yes we did ! The worst experience EVER! I’m not one to even write reviews but every time I pass by that place I just can’t believe I even got to experience something like this! I just moved into the area and have been on the hunt for some good Mexican food! THIS PLACE IS NOT IT!
To start place look like it hasn’t had a deep clean in years. Food took a long time to come out even though the entire restaurant was empty. The food was below average! It was cold and old. I can’t believe they would serve old beans and chicken. Really disturbing and a waste of money. Place has an unworthy built in tip, $2 per person. Absolutely fail here. Don’t waste your money or time!
It was a wonderful experience at Fiesta Mexicana. We went on a day with a special mariachi performance which was excellent and made our experience even better. We tried the chicken fajitas and nachos with spicy jalapenos and cheese. The food and drinks were great and even was the service. Will definitely come back for authentic mexican experience.

We ate their in November on a Monday it was great! This time not so great. We all had the buffet. I was really wanting menudo, they had it but it was not what I expected. Had enchiladas, they were cold, as were the beans...I love beans. I will say the chiveche was very good. Probably we won't go there again, but we came from Santa Barbara...on other business.
This place needs a a lot of work. Brought mom for her bday and was very disappointed. Place was empty so they sat us in a wack table. Asked to be moved to a better table but apparently all other 10 tables were reserved even though they were ALL empty for the three hours we were there. So dumb. This place also doesn't have filtered water, they make you buy water bottles. They also have no A/C so I was sweating and uncomfortable from the wack table they put us in. Also I didn't notice they included the tip on my bill until after I had paid and double tipped. Yes I should've checked the bill but I just paid for everyone before they can reach for their wallet. It was a group of 5 adults + 2 children. Gratuity is usually for groups of 8+ and should say it in the menu. Hope the extra $35 tip was worth us never coming back. What a waste.
With this heat going on, and no A/C is unbelievable, !!! And watch out with your bill. They charge you the tip, and then they give you the receipt for you to sign and include the tip this makes it double tipFood: 2/5
Bad Service, Bad Food. We paid over $1k here and the food was not good at all. Not even to the kids. Took them over an hour to serve us. Don’t go here unless you like bad food and service.
This is the place to go to if you want good food and live music. You can request songs and are free to dance if you want to. It's family oriented, you can dress up or just plain denims and shirt will do. If there's more than two in a group, make reservations to ensure accommodation because they have limited space. Montebello branch has friendly workers and they'll make you feel at home.
