If I could give 0 stars I ABSOLUTELY WOULD!! Worst bank ever and they stole my funds and want to act completely incompetent about where my money is. Read the other reviews!! Fifth third is a terrible bank and is known for their unethical practices. I’m definitely reporting to the BBB. And The teller in the front DOMINIQUE E. at this location is extremely rude, condescending, and has the nerve to act this way with NO HAIR! Her attitude is completely ugly just like her spirit. She is disgusting and nasty towards customers!!! She needs to be nasty with God for making her shaped that way and giving her no hair not nasty to customers who haven’t done a thing to her!! Definitely reporting them to the BBB for the misuse and mishandling of my money!!
make sure to listen to the one star reviews of this fifth third bank in hermitage. the worst. take your time and go to any other fifth third bank besides this one.
Banking at this bank is a complete Joke, they take money from hard working people and make up anything to justify their theft. They operate in a very unethical way with very rude attitude and expect people to want to bank there. Take my word for it fifth third is not a good bank and we do not recommend it to anyone. The Federal Government need to investigate these people !!!!! White collar crime is the definition of fifth third.
The employees at this bank have always treated me wonderfully and with respect. I have been there several times and I’ve never had a problem. I can also say the same about the downtown location.
All I can say is, don't do business with this bank! I have spent the past 6 months trying to get away from them. They keep charging a service fee to an account that I have requested to be closed. Of course this puts the account into overdraft and I'm now getting threatening letters. I have spoken to the branch manager who assured me that the account had been transitioned to a no-fee account. Three days later another fee was charged resulting in another overdraft. They are going to ruin my credit over this!
We have had several below average experiences at this branch that, due to the tellers, have caused inexcusable troubles despite our good credit history. 1. About a year ago my husband went to pay off his credit card. The teller somehow transferred this money to MY credit card- an account completely not attached to his. This caused a very rude creditor to call my husband about "not paying bills". It took multiple calls and many hours to get this sorted out when it was no fault of ours. 2. I went in to pay off my car loan completely on Oct. 31 2015. The teller said that because I had an automatic draft coming out on Nov. 1 a weekend he couldn't cancel it, so to pay off everything except for that last payment. This would then be "automatically taken out" and I would receive the car title in a few weeks. It never came. Because I had paid that day the bank didn't withdraw the last payment, meaning it wasn't yet completely paid off despite me asking to do so. He had left just enough in my account for the last payment, EXCEPT that the bank took out some without cause this would have lead my account to overdraft had I not kept an eye on it- This leads to #3 3. When we first signed up with this bank they gave us free ID Fraud protection due to my husband's workplace. About a year in we realized they were charging us for it, and they returned the money to us when WE addressed it at another branch. After figuring out the debacle in #2, I saw that they have continued to charge us for this service for the past two years perhaps further, these were all the records I could find. Although I have mentioned this previous incorrect charge to several of the tellers at this location, all have failed to notify us that it was STILL charging and thus causing bank to made the same mistake twice, as well as owing us money. 4. I asked to make a formal complaint about this branch due to the prior occurrences on the phone, they told me to speak with the manager at the branch. When I asked at the branch on 12/23 I was told that the manager wasn't available and the teller would "email him". The teller I spoke with failed to take any notes or information from me, just simply listened and said he was "sorry" it all happened. I highly doubt this email actually happened and have no record of it. Additionally, we use another bank as our main bank- Fifth Thirds has refused to find any way to withdraw an automatic payment for my car loan from any other bank. They will only do it from their own checking accounts, which at this point we do not trust. We have removed all our finances from this bank, I strongly suggest you do the same. They seem to create problems to gain income for themselves and harm their customers financially. Glad we caught their multitude of mistakes before it damaged our credit permanently.
I have been with this bank for many many years. Back in October I went into a Branch in hermitage tn and applied for the Early Access. At the time I was going through a very rough patch and I needed extra money. I applied for the Early Access and was approved for 1,000 credit limit. Everything was good until January after I paid back the early access, as I always do, only to find out that I didn't have access to it anymore because I had use my max limit 3 months consecutively and had been put on probation, well that's not the worse part. I wrote a check for my rent thinking that I would have the money available, we'll my rent check was sent backbounced and I don't know what I am going to do because the bank didn't not inform that after 3 consecutively months , nor did they give me any of the paperwork with the fine print in writing. I called the branch manager and he really could care less about me loosing home. Very upset and disappointed with 5/3 bank cause they caused all this and now they can't help me.
I love Fifth Third Bank, but everytime I go to this location recently, the new bank manager lady is extremely rude everytime. This has really killed my experience with the bank all together. I'm about to the point of leaving Fifth Third for a credit union just so I don't have to deal with the rudeness at this location alone. She always rushes people out as well. I'm just over it.
Great staff and excellent customer service at this location.
Big thanks to Dani apologies if I am misspelling her name for helping my wife and I clear up a clerical error that we made in less than 2 minutes. It made our day, and was a smooth transaction compared to previous banking experiences at other banks. Thanks so much!
