I'm on the fence with this one... I had the spices tuna sushi and then the trigger fish, both were really good. Not the best I've had, but no complaints. My wife on the other hand had steak medallions which were thin as a potato chip. No reason to ask how we wanted then medium, I piece this thin can only be well done, which it was. Not sure how the mashed potatoes can be that bland I had to taste for myself as I thought my wife may be being high maintenance. Come on, not good at all. At the end of the day I give it 3 stars as me and my wife had 2 completely different experiences based on our food. Good note: atmosphere is cool, the Moscow mule was on point and the service was good.
Great dining experience. Sushi was some of the best I’ve had. Best lobster bisque I’ve ever had. All entrees were great. Their live music was incredible: Three guys who were excellent and sounded great.Food: 5/5
We went for the happy hour and closed the place down with a late dinner. It was the perfect parents night out. Grab a babysitter, go sit on the waterfront, enjoy live music, a great atmosphere and yummy food!Food: 5/5
Filet's has a great location but the service and food were terrible. We waited 30 minutes just to get our drinks. The burger was like a brick, rock hard and burnt- not worth $16. I didn't even eat half of it. After the food was delivered the server was MIA. She did not come back to check to see if the food was okay or we needed drinks. Dinner took 2.5 hours because the service was so slow. There were only a few other tables that had people at them so I don't understand why the service was so terrible.
Amazing restaurant, with great view options and amazing staff. Definitely some of the best seafood I have had in some time. The food wash fresh, everything from the fish to the mollusk I will be coming back to try some more dishes in the future.
We ate dinner tonight at the Filet’s Water Front and the food, service and atmosphere was great! I had the slow roasted Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and salad with appetizer of fried Calamari which was done perfectly! Our Server Dee did an outstanding job explaining the menu and specials very nice and personable with top notch professional service! We will highly recommend this restaurant to our friends and without a doubt it is 5 star quality!!!
Great food, good happy hour prices, but far and away the best thing was the waitress Kia. She had an amazing personality, worked her tables well, and made sure to make everyone feel special and appreciated. I've ate out many times, and she was the best waitress ever. I got the flounder and clams. Clams were great flounder was an 8 out of 10. I'd go again!
Such good food, right on the water, music, great wait staff. Everything you could ask for. I especially liked the sushi that I ordered.Food: 5/5
We have been going to Filets for years. Food prime rib was my go to which is no longer on the menu always amazing and the service was excellent. I was introduced to the happy hour menu and started trying out some of the smaller portions. They were also excellent. Since the new owner ship, o have seen a decrease in attention to food and taste. In July 2023, we went and got the black and blue steak tips. They were served grey, very little blue cheese crumbles and had NO taste. I couldn’t eat them. They tasted microwaved. We will no longer be frequenting this establishment
We have frequently ate here over the past few years and have had great service and amazing food. Tonight was our first visit since new ownership. We were so disappointed. Our server was not friendly at all. Did the bare minimum. She did not smile, made no attempt at being friendly or warm. I could overlook that if the food had exceeded her attitude but it was honestly so bland and boring I can't. I had the stuffed flounder. It really did not taste like anything sadly and the "stuffing" was very dry. My side was green beans that were hard and tastelesswas told seasonal veggie was broccoli and a salad that was basically lettuce with a lot of blue cheese dressing and 1 tomato and 1 cucumber slice. My husband had the grouper over risotto. Same thing for him bland and tasteless. His salad did have a tiny tiny sprinkle of bacon and onion. We each had 2/3 croutons. The risotto was without flavor and very runny. We both used a lot of pepper and had to use salt which we never do. We just got into town and were hungry and made as best we could of it. The real kicker was seeing another server retrieve a small shot hidden out on the deck by the dishes and slung it back in her mouth while walking back to station by bar and crumbling cup in hand hiding it. We spent $82 including tip for one of the worst dinners out we have ever had. We will no longer recommend Filet's and it is never going to be the favorite spot it once was for us. I also want to say the removal of items we loved on the original menu was a poor decision on new owners part. I hope this is read and taken seriously especially the server drinking on the job.
