We went for dinner after work we noticed the Ac wasn't on or working so it was really hot the manager was kinda pushy and made us feel uncomfortable and the waitress was too flirty.... The food was delicious except the Garlic cheese bread had no flavor of garlic and I wanted extra sauce to my pasta which was $16 dollars extra I was kinda surprised once we got the bill. Towards the end of dinner the Ac was turned on and they started to play Italian music and we stayed for dessert the rest of night was good. Our waiter he was amazing everyone else that night needed to be not so judgemental and kinder.
This place is a hidden gem. The staff, above all else, are so friendly and passionate about the food they serve. And the food… my goodness, words fail to describe how authentic everything tasted. I highly recommend this place for party’s or for an intimate night out.Food: 5/5

I had the most exceptional experience at Filomena's Italian restaurant the food is a five-star the service is amazing they also have a quaint deli and bakery where they make their food fresh daily have gelato also they have just expanded their restaurant so now there's more seating for the very high requested restaurant I would recommend make a reservation. It's atmosphere is welcoming and classy.
My husband and I were on a trip to Southern California and we literally stumbled upon this restaurant. The food and service were absolutely awesome. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. I highly recommend.
We ordered a cheese pizza from here and if you like saucy pizza - this pizza isn’t for you. I called to ask why my pizza had no sauce instead of the extra sauce I requested and the reply from the nice person on the phone was that they typically are light on their sauce and it would cost extra if we wanted more. We tried the pizza again with the “extra sauce” and we could swear it was less than the first time. The dough and cheese didn’t taste any better either. The 3 stars is simply bc they have good service and nice people working there.
We stopped in, after exploring the area, for dinner. It was okay but not a place I'd go back to. The portion sizes are good, the chicken parm was okay but nothing that wowed me. We have had cannolis in Boston, New York and so many other places, this one was the worst we've ever had. The staff was kind and service was quick.Food: 3/5
Stopped on my way back to N.Y.C. from a business trip. Being from Brooklyn N.Y. I am an Italian food aficionado and this place is the real thing. I bought some food from the Market stuck it into a cooler and can't wait for friends to taste it. Run don't walk, go thru red lights only kidding to this excellent restaurant.
Found this place randomly just driving through the area and I'm so glad that I did. Our waiter was super friendly and joked around with the kids. The kids shared a pizza and a Cesar salad and I had the mushroom linguine. The kids enjoyed their meal and we all LOVED mine. We live in San Diego, but will definitely visit this place again when we're up here. Oh, and there's a small market attached to the restaurant which sells various meats, cheeses, desserts, and other Italian goodies. And Gelato! This place is awesome!
I've been wanting to try this restaurant on prior trips to Orange County but just never found the time, until now. I really enjoyed the atmosphere having a little Italian grocery on one side and the restaurant on the other side. You cannot beat the freshly made pasta. The chicken piccata was made to perfection. You can't go wrong with the chocolate chip cannoli.
