Was very impressed with the work completed on my mother’s roof…except for one small snag. The roof tiles over garage did not lay flat and seemed to get worse days after job was completed. Contacted company to review the area to make sure there was not an issue. They sent out a QA rep and he looked and said it was due to warped wood on the deck of roof. He agreed this part of the roof looked bad and said to correct the issue the deck would need to be replaced and he would cover the new tiles but we would have to pay for new wood. Which was not a problem. He explained he would have to reach out to “Austin” and would get back with us. Great!! Right??? not exactly.. A week went by no response. I contacted company. Austin reached out to me a day later and explain that they only replaced damaged wood and to fix this issue we would need to pay an additional $1350. Which was for new deck, tiles and labor. I explained that if wood was warped I would think this is damaged wood and felt if it had replaced in first place we would only have to pay for wood not a problem. but now I have to pay additional $$$ to redo over the garage. I explained I was not willing to do this and that was it from Findlay. Never received any other type of response or resolution. Just so disappointing when this could have been a 5 star review. I was not looking to get something for nothing, I was just disappointed no one was willing to work with us to resolve this. I have attached picture and will be glad to tell anyone who ask what’s wrong with this part of the roof, that this was the work of Findlay Roofing.Services: Roof repair
My oh my, am I happy that I hired Findlay Roofing to do a total roof replacement job on my house this month, right before all of these powerful storms began pouring rain on the rooves of houses all around Atlanta. I was dealing with multiple leaks on my roof and through my ceilings inside of my house beforehand, but no longer thanks to Findlay Roofing. Now my house built in 1952 looks much younger once again and is waterproof! The people at Findlay Roofing are very kind, and very professional in the way they work and clean-up the work site every day around the house. They arrive on time and do exactly what was promised by the Findlay Sales Rep. Shout out to my rep, JD Latham, who took care of all of the details and delivered excellence for me and my house, and who even worked with my home insurance company on the paperwork. Being locally owned and locally operated by the Findlay family for decades gives Findlay Roofing customers like me a friendly and sincere personal touch, and I'd recommend them to you 10 out 10 times whenever you need roof work on your house. With Findlay Roofing the price is better than most other roofing companies, as well, and they give you a strong warranty on their work. I am so pleased with Findlay Roofing that I've also hired them to upgrade all of my gutters with their incredible gutter covers system, and with these also installed, I'll probably never have to walk up the ladder and get on top of my roof ever again! Thank you Findlay Roofing Team!!
