The Finnegan Fitzpatrick Academy of Irish Dance is run by Amanda Finnegan (T.C.R.G) and Danielle Fitzpatrick (T.C.R.G). The Academy is affiliated with An Comhdhail U.S.A and An Comhdhail Ireland.
Amanda Finnegan hails from Galway in the West of Ireland. Amanda danced under An Comhdhail na Rince Gaeilge from the ages of 4-15. Having danced in competitions both nationally and internationally Amanda decided to focus primarily on building her reputation as an Irish Dance Instructor. Amanda founded the company 'Damhsa Fit' in Ireland, encompassing Irish Dance Classes for adults, Irish Dance workshops and Summer Camps (all ages/levels). Amanda has choreographed Irish dance showcases internationally, bringing a 'Taste of Ireland' to a multitute of countries around the globe. Amanda is a fully qualified and certified T.C.R.G (An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaeilge) Irish Dance Teacher. As well as having an extensive background in Irish Dance instruction, Amanda is a qualified and acting elementary school teacher.
Danielle Fitzpatrick is from Dublin, Ireland. She also studied Irish Dancing under An Comhdhail na Rince Gaeilge, beginning her journey at the tender age of 3. During her many competitive years of Irish Dancing Danielle won multiple titles including the Dublin, Leinster and All-Ireland & International Championships. At the age of 19 Danielle went on to dance professionally and toured Europe and the US with world-renowned Irish Dance shows. In 2006 Danielle moved to Orlando, Florida to dance at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant in Downtown Disney. She danced there for 9 years before deciding to move on and become a certified T.C.R.G Irish Dancing Teacher.
Together we are looking forward to welcoming you into the Finnegan Fitzpatrick Academy of Irish Dance family, where we will teach our combined knowledge of both competitive and performance aspects of Irish Dance.
