I did a drive thru order and when I say service is excellent it is. The worker greeted me with a smile and was nice the whole time. I picked up the 3 meat for my bf. He said the ribs,Brisket and burnt ends was really good. For a side he got then Mac n cheese with some kind of curly potatoe. He said it was all good. Will be going back. 14 for all that wasn't bad.
They've been at this location now for a couple years, and this was our first time there. Zero complaints. The best brisket that I have ever had! We'll definitely be going back.Food: 5/5
I was recommended to try this restaurant for BBQ. Honestly, I wasn't all that impressed. It's fast food BBQ. Wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The sandwich had a bit too much fat, so if you don't like that, I would recommend asking for lean meat.Food: 4/5
Chicken breast is juicy and flavorful! 5 cheese macaroni delicious, sweet potatoes casserole delicious! I got the cucumber salad but I should have asked about it before ordering. Just not for me. Overall today the food is great! Awesome customer service! Wheelchair accessibility: Separate entrance for wheelchair entrance directly in front on parking!
Ordered chocolate custard for carry out tonight. Got home and it is spoiled. Try to call restaurant to warn them not to sell anymore today but could not get a hold of them. Mailbox full is all the recording kept saying. Hope no one gets sick. So you respond a month later? The damage is done. If anyone were to get sick, they would of by now. Poor customer service.
So here's the thing. I love this place I really do, the food is solid, the people here are always reasonably nice and cool. If you're going inside, this review can stop right here and I would give them a 5/5. But it doesn't stop right there. Don't go through the drive-thru, just don't. Never go through the drive-thru. Even if there's only one car, just don't. They may as well not even have one. I don't think I've ever waited less than 20 minutes, and I've waited upwards of 45 minutes. This place has the longest wait time out of any restaurant in the entire city of Wood River if you go through the drive-thru. And you see, upon waiting such an annoying amount of time the cracks begin to show. The food, while pretty good, is somewhat pricey. Sometimes you get to the window, and they've run out of whatever you ordered, but you've already waited 30 minutes. The people that work the window, also seem to work other stations inside, so you'll go quite a while without hearing from anyone. All the respect of the staff, it's a busy place, just feels like it's not the most well optimized for a drive-thru, but that's not their fault, they just work there. Don't go through the drive-thru.
Girl with glasses at the window made it a horrible experience. Service has went down, quantity is less but priced are higher. Mac n cheese didn't even fill the small pan. Tried to substitute fries for Mac n cheese at the drive thru but she quickly cut it off before I could make the adjustment so I had to let her know at the window but she made it seem like it might be a problem. Then I asked for no ice in our drinks, but she didn't listen, so I ask if we could get an additional cup of ice and she says if I ask for another cup she's going to have to charge me. Then we ride off only to realize she didn't give us any utensils. We turn around and go back and tell them we need 5 sets to go with our 5 orders and of course they only give us 3. Lol. This place used to be ok. They have really gone down hill. The Troy location is much better
We had a large group and service was quick and efficient. Only problem i had was that I ordered tace salad WITHOUT jalapenos and they were piled on top. I took them off but a few had fallen down in. Not a pleasant bite. Dietary restrictions: Leave off the jalapenos when asked.
I've never had anything from here I didn't like. Wings, brisket, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese, green beans.... It's all excellent! The loaded potato twisters with pulled pork are !!!!! My only complaints are that I wish they had a white bbq sauce and they aren't open on Mondays.Food: 5/5
They make you feel right at home. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food has always been amazing from this restaurant. We usually go to the Troy location but we were traveling in a different direction this time so we stopped here and were extremely pleased with the whole encounter.Food: 5/5
