Description

Honor firefighters with one-of-a-kind art by veteran firefighter and artist, Allan Albaitis. The fine art of Allan Albaitis is a reflection of his personal life experiences as a firefighter whose career spans three decades. He's felt the consuming heat of fire through his duty. He has clawed through black smoke and burning debris to suppress fire and preserve life. FireArt by Allan Albaitis celebrates not only career, but personal committment to excellence. We have FireArt limited editions available to purchase, as well as open edition Gicles and posters.

Mission

The typical FireArt customers are self-assured, physically fit, intelligent individuals who take great pride in their career choice. Although most who have gravitated toward this arena are outwardly modest, just beneath this veneer is a hint of swagger. This is not all that hard to imagine and easy to forgive considering all that such a commitment entails. It is a blue collar, working man’s royalty that earns its stature from day to day striving, not through fortunate blue-blooded lineage. And hand-in-hand with this dash of cockiness is an inclination to let the world know that they are part of this elite and respected band.

If this notion were ever in doubt, it was instantly substantiated with the issuing of the Professional Firefighter License Plate. Designed by Mr. Albaitis in 1998 at the request of the Professional Firefighters Of Nevada, the marked proliferation of this license plate clearly demonstrates that this group doesn’t mind being noticed.

An established fact is that a great percentage of Fire/Rescue personnel have in their private residences an area dedicated to the commendations, clippings, awards, citations, photos, prints, posters, paintings and sometimes actual items (the first helmet, an old fire ax, an antique alarm box etc.). This may be simply a section of a wall, or a den, an office, or a substantial “fire room” rivaling some small museums. The common denominator is the display, the statement. It boldly announces, “This is what I do, and I’m proud of it”.

There is no question that the millions of firefighters in the world will continue to have such displays. The question is from whom will they buy their “announcements”. Who best serves as a statesman for our typical FireArt customer? As mentioned, they are intelligent and it doesn’t take a particle physicist to know that one would best convey their message who has walked in the same boots.

It is an unqualified benefit to FireArt customers that the artwork purchased from FireArt will tell their story accurately, with personal insight nearly unattainable in the genre. When they show their collections to friends, family, and even their fellow rescue men, it will be with a welling of pride that they will, without a doubt, add, “The artist, Allan Albaitis, is a firefighter. A real firefighter. One of us.”
