We planned an appointment here during a long weekend getaway and loved it! Everyone involved was great - informative, helpful, clear and cheerful, even on the phone making the reservation. It is well organized, impressively stocked I used artisanal glazes here that I’ve not seen available anywhere else! and it’s a dream layout, all the supplies are thoughtfully labeled and accessible, and the tables are well spaced apart for breathing room and volume control. The prices were reasonable to boot. We didn’t want to hog a table longer than needed but we were happy that we weren’t rushed out or limited to a certain time cap. Also the mural in the bathroom alone is worth a trip! Excited to go back, and suspect I’ll be making the drive to Portsmouth a lot… every time I pick something up I’m going to have to make something new… a good problem to have!
I've gone here a couple of times so far since moving to the area. I love it! They provide guidance if asked or needed they're good at checking in, and the prices are great. Plenty of glaze options and pottery to choose from. I've attached the ornaments I made last.
Love this place a bit expensive for bigger peices but a great passtime for date night or with the kids. Had an amazing time and have gone back multiple times!!
We had a birthday for our 11 year old here and it was FANTASTIC! The employee did a fantastic job leading the kids through making their pots, assisted them without being overbwaring at all. The kids had a wonderful time. And it was really affordable compared to a lot of other birthday party options. Such a great time.
My wife and daughter love this place. They're super nice and helpful. Really awesome place to relax and paint something. Not very expensive either

Firefly Pottery is the best! I've been coming for over 10 years. No studio fees, helpful staff. I love that my children enjoy this as much as I do.
My friend and I went, with no clay skills. Sarah helped us out, and was very patient/knowledgeable. I will definitely come again!

We are regular visitors here. The staff is great and kids and adults will have a great time. The gist is that you can pick a piece of pottery, all reasonably priced, then utilize the paints to decorate it. They take care of putting it in the kiln. Don't expect to walk out the door with your product because it can take a week to ten days to kiln it, but the end product is really amazing and they make great gifts. They also offer glass as an option instead of pottery. They have camps and its a nice option for a birthday party as well.
