Reviews
They give you a small cup with the medium chip and drink combo. I brought it to their attention and was told the combo comes with a small drink. The medium drink and chip combo is the smallest size available online and is the same price as what they charge for the small drink and chip combo. They replied to my last review stating the medium drink was no additional charge to the chip and drink combo, but they give you a small drink and do not offer upgrade. Obviously they are trying to short customers on drink size without them knowing. New management is terrible. Best of luck staying in business.
This place seems like there's never a lot of customers. How good can their sandwiches be if nobody is ever in there eating them right? WRONG. That's what I used to think, but their sandwiches are delicious. I recommend the Hook and Ladder name of the sandwich fully involved with everything and a side of chili. Try this place. You'll like it and you'll help keep it open. And let them keep the change as a donation to your local first responders.
Will not go back to this place. Paid ten dollars for the new steak sub could not hardly find any meat on it. what a rip off!!! And the kid behind the counter could care less when I complained about it. Plus they took forever making two sandwiches in the first place. Will stay with Jimmy Johns from now on. They have fast service and I’ve never had a bad sandwich from them!
Both people behind the counter have the worst attitudes today. Typically different people and very nice but not today. I was trying to get my card out to pay and the boy behind the counter is rushing me telling me to swipe my card before I even have it out of my wallet. I ordered 3 sandwiches and a salad. One of the sandwiches was a medium steak and cheese with extra cheese....open it to find NO cheese I paid for extra and there’s NO cheese on it. I have never had such horrible service at a Firehouse before.
Overall the sandwich was good but the service was cold and not very friendly . I was in shock because I was at that location maney times before. We like to honor the firefighters who do so much for us . The time was around 3pm on a Tuesday . If your not happy working at this location step aside as you give the store a bad rap .
Soda station & tables were all dirty couldn't find a clean place to sit. The hot sauce selection was low/empty and that area was dirty as well. I then watched as the shift supervisor filled his soda and ignored ALL the mess. If they were swamped I could look past it but there were 6 people in the entire place. Fiance's sandwhich was sloppy and everything sliding of the side. Used to be a wonderful store but for some reason our visit last Sunday was VERY disappointing.
Really Subpar experience today. Used to come every 2-3 months. bread tasted a few days old. soda machine sprayed carbonated water, and though chips were dated to expire in another month they tasted stale. On a previous visit salad had brown and wilted lettuce and we had to ask for a fresher salad. Won't be back to this location. Quality has really slipped big time.
I ordered the medium New York Steamer. They put about 1 slice of pastrami and 1 slice of corned beef on it. The sandwich was basically all bread for almost $8 bucks. I ordered it to go and when I lifted the bag up it felt like there was nothing in the there. I should have opened it up before I left. My first and last time at the place.
If you want a half made sandwich then this is the place for you. Workers are unenthusiastic. I tried to get a refund but all they could offer me is another sandwich. If it wasn't for their efforts in helping first responders I would never of gone there.
They have great ham. Sandwhich was very good. Nice and quick for my simple sandwhich. It did not take long like it can be in other places. Clean and atmosphere was good. Employees were good and they worked quick. I would say try this place out you will like it. Moderate prices.
