Firemens Memorial Park

Beautiful park but I wish I had the great experience everyone in these reviews has had. My daughter and I went for the first time because we heard so much about but got kicked out by a bunch of day campers who closed an entire park for themselves closing it to the public. The only sign they could show me was "Park Closed M-F 9am - 3am" nothing that says "camp only not open to public". Because if park is closed that means no one should be there not even them but that would be common sense. My daughter cried all the way until we got to another park. I wanted to take her somewhere different and it backfired. I have no doubt they're allowed to do that but I wish I had a heads up before driving there and walking all the way in letting my daughter play before being told to leave a public park. Too bad I won't find out how awesome it is, not willing to put myself and daughter through that again.

nice park though restrooms should be kept cleaner

Go to support the fireman's drill team every 1st weekend of June!! I go to a good majority of the fundraisers there!! This place is spacious and we always have a great time at varied events!!

No goose control. Goose feces all over the place, playground is great. Too bad you can't walk the kids around without everyones shoes getting covered in crap.
