Bank added cpi insurance to my loan. And raised my payment almost a hundred dollars a month. With no notification, i got the insurance resolved and a full refund. But now they are stating i am a full payment behind, becuase of the raised payment amount but their system shows i have made 8 payments for this year. And it is august first. This issue has been impossible to resolve. And i would strongly urge anyone thinking about using this bank to strongly reconsider. They are thiefs and need to be dealt with accordingly.
Completely disorganized. I called in April to pay off my truck early. They said I owed some 200 over what was due, plus an early payoff fee. Their online system screwed up and caused 1 payment to be late. Late fee? 60 bucks. I was paying 61 bucks over since I started the loan. Somehow, a late fee was charged every month for months. They couldn't explain it or figure it out. Finally got ahold of someone Jim who said that they would take of it. He said to avoid an early payoff fee to wait till August. I watch my balance like a hawk. Payment due on 12th, paid on 14th I checked August 10th, balance on loan 580 and change. Payment comes out on 14th. Call to pay off remainder. Tell me payoff is 440 some dollars. I lose it on them demanding how a 180 difference is now 440 something. Somehow still had late fees, and an early payoff fee. I can't get ahold of the people I need to because they refuse to answer their phone and refuse to return voice mails. The one lady acted like I should be grateful because they eventually removed "the early payoff fee" even though she said it shouldn't be on there anyway because I am now past the minimum date of maturity. This bank has been freaking horrible.
Awful experience. Would not release title for weeks after we paid off our vehicle in full. Called dozens of times and never got an answer during regular business hours. I will be contacting the BBB if this is not revolved in the next week. Terrible bank! We need to keep them accountable!
I have nothing good to say about my loan experience with this financial institution. I never received any welcome information or guidance on how to set up payments. But I started receiving late charges and despite having insurance on the vehicle a year and a half later I see insurance has been placed on my vehicle. No one oneanswers the phone to dispute these charges returns or answers the phone, so
These scammers are sloppy and want to take advantage of you. Never received payment information to make the first payment on my car so the first actual letter I received was a late payment notice which I ended up paying, then set up auto-payment which failed due to error and caused me to be late in payments yet again although the info i used worked before. The fee to make payments over the phone depends on who you're talking to apparently also. Not recommended at all.
Wow, I'm amazed that I'm also dealing with similar issues that everyone else is. I've set up an auto pay to pay my loan however I got a late notice indicating I didn't pay. I tried calling the bank and left a voicemail and still nothing. I again set up to pay my loan and re-set up the auto pay and everything and received an email confirming the set up. I was also locked out of the online account just like another customer in the reviews. A couple days go by and I get another notice indicating I still haven't paid. This is ridiculous. I'm going to try and contact them again. If this doesn't go through I'm going to try and find another bank.
Horrible bank will never finance with these crooks again very unprofessional and they never answer the phone and are very hard to get ahold of. Poor communication and customer service.
My payment is due the first of the month and it’s now the 3rd. I should have a window to pay before getting any past due or late charges but bank of Ohio has already place a passed due amount on my account which has cause my credit score to drop tremendously
0 out of 5 stars. This place is awful. The worst customer service I have received anywhere. Apparently, every branch does something different and no one actually does their job. I have been trying to do a loan extension or skip a payment for 3 months. I am also locked out of my online account so I can't even pay my loan online, let alone che k on the extension status. I called 12 times today to try to talk to anyone to get anything done. I would have made the payment today if someone had picked up the phone. I have worked at credit unions in the past and would have been fired for this awful customer service.
Awful. Simply terrible. The only reason they get two stars instead of zero is they have good loan rates for good credit. Other than that the experience is terrible. No one answers the phone. They don't return calls. Their on-line banking is antiquated and cumbersome and their ludicrous security requirements to access your account is simply asinine. Dictate impossible to remember passwords so you have to reset it every time because you can't set up one you can remember I'm already considering refinancing a two mont old loan because of how bad they are. It's like banking in the Stone Age.
