You gotta love Jesus! Thought provoking services and some decent members. Some have questionable sanity but that's why church is important. To make sure they feel like they have some purpose in life. My main critique is that there needs to be more gender neutral events. There are many women only events that my wife goes to that I wish I could attend as well.
This church is awesome. If you want a pastor who preaches the truth of God’s Word, this is the church for you. It is a very friendly church. The people are very friendly and personable.
My church home since I was 2 years old! We have a great kids and youth ministry, a growing college ministry, life groups for all ages, and an active 55+ ministry. Our leadership is caring and brilliant. We're under construction right now as we continue to grow and we'd love to meet you! The photo is of our new preschool entrance.
I've been going to church my whole life. There has not been a church that I have felt welcome in EXCEPT this one. My family and I will be back.
Went to the Easter egg hunt. Incredible. All the volunteers were great, providing much love and zero judgment. The pastor was gracious, genuine and welcoming. We had a great first experience with this church.
Place where everyone, I mean everyone is welcomed. The pastor, Brian Boyles preaches the word and the music and orchestra is amazing. Mostly contemporary music but with some of the hymns mixed in. There are two services on Sunday, but if you want to ease in and meet people on a small scale there are services most Wednesday nights with a delicious $5 meal. Check the schedule. The associate pastor usually leads Wednesday night services. Plenty of groups for children. Healthy, growing, active church. Large but feels small.
I became aware of this great church by attending BSF. I made this my church home about four months ago. This is a place where the word of God is being taught. Pastor Brian bring the word straight from the scriptures. I am so happy to be a part of this bible based ministry.
I joined a year ago, approx. and the Brother Brian was hired 2 years ago. I was attending, but had not joined. After listening to him teach the word of God for approx. a year I was moved by the spirit to join. To the man that said he is Jewish and was kicked out I simply do not believe you. I do know that would not happen the way you stated. The Bible was written to Jews, the old testament, and the new testament was written to the Gentiles when other Jews did not believe that Jesus was the messiah and rejected that truth. Jesus loves you and wants you to come to his saving grace. Please come and visit again. Brother Brian teaches the word of God right out of the Book!! I can't give any church 5 Stars either, but we are being led by a husband and wife who love the Lord.
The facility has had a great update indoors. It looks good. We enjoyed the facility. I can't address the services or programs since the group I was with were just using those facilities.
I have been blessed to be a member of FBC for 25 years. It is here that I found wonderful friends and lovers of Christ in Bible study. FBC remains a light in the darkness and a beacon of hope for a lost and wayward world. Faithfulness to the truth of God's Word has been passed from generation to generation since the church's inception in the 1800's. We are determined to continue to honor and lift up Jesus. The baton has been passed to us, and we seek to pass it faithfully to the next generation. Here you will find a fabulous choir and orchestra which does not rely on fancy lights, loud music, and smoke machines to wow and entertain the flock. In our worship we strive to please and honor an audience of One.The Lord has a GOOD plan for our future, and I sure don't want to miss it. We are trusting that God will send His man in His timing to be our pastor. We don't just sit and wait for a man, because the good stuff is happening now! Jump on in! It's a great place to invest your life. I only give 4 stars, because 5 stars to me represents perfection. Our church is not perfect, but you won't find one that is. The real blessing in any church is in becoming involved and serving. Just as at the wedding in Cana when Jesus turned the water into wine, the servants behind the scenes were the ones who knew about the miracle. Everyone else just enjoyed a glass of fine wine.---Martha Clark
