My company and I have been a tenant of First Southwest for many years. First Southwest has always been a very reasonable, reliable and responsive landlord....even to the point of having a representative stop by our office occasionally to see if there is anything we might need. I definitely recommend First Southwest!
Well, where shall we begin.. Moved into our office at suite 130 in Jan of 2012. They were setup on auto pay and they received their payments every single month on time with exception of one month where chase bill pay payment arrived a month late technical issues at chase, even though our bank had drafted the funds, took them 6-8 months to resolve this and the lady we were dealing with perhaps realized she is working for the wrong company and left and then Travis took over. Well it appears that customer service is non-existent within this company. That must be the least thing they care about. We had a ceiling leak that took maybe 6-8 months to fix, water stains all over the walls which was never fixed, of course wet carpets and stained ceiling tiles. From day 1 and each time they replaced ceiling tiles, each one is different and looks pretty crappy but we didn't bother making a big deal out of it. one time the office was flooded enough that they had to bring in fans and etc and then dealing with smell of mold or wet insulation. I had a hole in my office that they had made which took about 4 months to fix, it was covered and was never painted so we covered it with a table in front of it. so we move out, paid a cleaning company to clean the office and moved out by 11pm of the 15th. They prorated the Jan rent, which according to Michele Scheibel the month of January has 30 days, NOT 31. What do people do for some extra money?! We also did some work for them, they of course never paid, claiming we did not complete the job. We completed our scope of work 100%, but they were trying to get free internet access from one of their tenants and that tenant did not want to deal with it so they blame us for it somehow. I cannot force their tenant to provide them free internet so they can remotely view their cameras! I even stepped in to help them and explain to the tenant that this will not cause any harms to their network, but they had the RIGHT to NOT give First Commercial free internet access. They hired a cleaning company, Lefler Services Inc. who supposedly billed $460.06 for carpet cleaning. Supposedly again, there was stains on the floors and walls from dogs which the cleaning company did not acknowledge and once they realized the conversations are recorded, he disconnected the call, makes wonder what deal they have worked out when on their website 6-room cleaning is on special for $179.95 and 4 rooms is $119.95, simple math says, $299.90. I believe First Commercial Realty is the most dishonest, unfair and unrealistic company I have ever dealt with. We have been leasing for the past 12 years and never had any issues with any other landlord and never had to deal with such inflexible and dishonest. It is truly a shame and incredibly sad to have such companies exist and worse yet, becoming an accidental clients of such horrible companies.
The Landlord is super responsive and will do anything and everything to accommodate you! The offices and bathroom are kept extremely clean. Everyone in the building trust each other, an amazing experience!
I have been a tenant of First Commercial for more than five years. While doing so, I have found them to be exceptionally responsive to all of our requests. They are definitely in tune with their property and manage it accordingly.
