"First lake general store is New Hampshire's northern most one stop shopping experience ! Established for over 50 years, we pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and low prices. We are open at 7 AM every day. Come try our breakfast, lunch, and fudge. You name it, we have it ! The only thing we don't sell is hard liquor and gas. However, our beer and wine prices are unbeatable ! Come see why our store was voted the 5th most popular general store in the entire state based upon WMUR channel 9's 2018 viewer poll. Whether you need licenses, registrations, sporting goods, ATM, or free wifi, we offer it all."

This is a must stop. They are so friendly. Its truly the quintessential New England small town experience. Great breakfast, coffee or snacks. Besides any last minute travel essentials, you can get all of your souvenir shopping done. Sit at the outside picnic area and just chill.
Liked. I have never worked at First Lake General Store. OMG, I LIKED YOUR STORE, I don't know why you are harassing me.
Absolutely love this store. Go to Pittsburgh often . Great Employee very friendly.
I visited there yesterday and all the years I’ve been going to Pittsburg this is the 1st time I’ve been into this cool store
09.20.21 Great store. Great homemade breakfast sandwiches. The people are always nice every time I go. I Got my daughter a cute handmade bracelet from the owner. Thank you- see you next year!
Always a great stop in our travels of The Burg!! Yummy fudge and food, a great warming hut, souvenirs for everyone and awesome general store! Cold drinks, hot coffee, snacks and all the little things you may have forgotten at home. Good prices and even better employees, always pleasant ! Al is a treat to do business with and will go above and beyond for his customers. Very welcoming!!
One stop shop for everything you could need! Got fresh eggs, a fishing permit, a fire permit, fudge and a steak and cheese all in one trip! Between the convening store selection, the homemade fudge, and ease of access, this is one of my favorite places in the North Country. The owners and staff are always beyond friendly!
We have been vacationing in Pittsburgh NH for a number of years. We love this store, the owners and staff are the best. The fudge is wonderful as well. They have everything you need, from fishing to groceries to gifts. All your needs all in one store. The prices are great as well. Oh and almost forgot their webcam looking out on to the First Connecticut Lake, beautiful.
When I was visiting my father up there he took me to the store. The fudge is unbelievable! The boy at the front desk was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend them if you haven’t tried the fudge yet you don’t know what you’re missing out on
Last bastion of civilization northbound on Route 3. My fishing group always stops by this store multiple times during our annual fishing trips to Pittsburg. Friendly staff, great breakfast sandwiches and perfect place to buy gifts. For many years the parking lot was the only place around with cell service, that is until they put in a tower between here at 2nd Conn. Come to find out the owner had several cell carrier repeaters in the store to help his customers and I'm sure to attract new customers! Trips to 3rd Conn always called for a stop at this store both there and back. It's also a good place to get and share valuable fishing information from other anglers.
