I’ve usually have had a good experience with FNB. Just once in awhile the people haven’t been friendly but maybe there day hasn’t been so great. But I recommend FNB for banking.
The people are nice here but don't order a replacement card and expect it anytime soon. I ordered a replacement debit card Sept 7th and after a month of waiting they said it was "lost in the mail". I then ordered another one on October 7th and found out today that it was "never ordered". Again, nice staff but some clear disorganization within the company.
I've banked with First National for a few years now and my experiences have been positive. Mike and Khalique in the Camp Hill branch have worked with me and are always helpful. They gave me a generous HELOC. They always answer the phone when I call the branch. The lines at the bank are short.
A joke of a bank. They can’t cash payroll checks and they messed up my check before letting me know this. And when I signed up at the Carlisle branch they did not even order a debit card. Now thanks to this joke of a bank I have no money until Tuesday and I’m hoping I have enough gas for work Monday let alone able to eat.
Their customer service across the entire company is abysmal. Even just getting to talk to someone over the phone is a challenge. They couldn’t take a payment over the phone. There is no way to do many important banking actions online or over the phone. they insist on you coming into the physical location and have made no real changes for the pandemic. Their overdraft policies are bad. fnb denied me a credit card, said they would mail me the reason why and I never got anything. It took way longer than it should have to close my account, this location was particularly unhelpful. They also got rid of their coin machine. The entire reason I opened an account here before it was fnb was because it had a coin machine and was close. The company seems to intentionally make it difficult to talk to anyone. Many of their phone numbers dont work. There are no emails available to get in contact with anyone on their website. The app is clunky and poorly made. The website does not hold up to other banks. There is no reason to go to this location or any fnb location.
I was an account holder at one of the banks that FNB took over Parkvale for about 20 years -- when FNB bought the bank, I looked forward to continuing my financial relationship. Instead, the service at each greater-Harrisburg branch seemed to get worse and worse. I've also been a member at one of the large, local credit unions and have taken out 2 mortgages with them. Folks there smile at customers, seem to enjoy helping customers and seem to appreciate their jobs. FNB must be a terrible place to work because the people there are so unfriendly. An interesting aside is that this branch didn't count out cash that was withdrawn at the counter. I asked them about it and they said that they do count it out -- behind the counter where the customer can't see it. Customer service is what differentiates one bank or credit union from another and I am very happy to have closed my FNB accounts. I think most people would do well to look elsewhere for their banking needs.
Mauvais service, mauvaise agence. Chef d'agence malveillant, impoli et très désagréable. J'ai eu une mauvaise expérience chez cette agence et ce à deux reprises et donc Je change de banque.
Unfortunately this place has gone down so much since FNB took over. Our loan officer Ross Hamilton took advantage of us and lied for his own selfish benefits. Do not trust anyone here.
I have a problem with the online banking - it is a hit or miss getting into my account. Usually have to make several tries before getting my information.
If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. Michelle goes out of her way to help.
