"On January 14, 1890, Gibbs National Bank, now First National Bank of Huntsville FNBH, opened its doors for business on the downtown square in Huntsville, Texas. Prior to 1890, the Gibbs Family provided banking services to the citizens of Huntsville through the family mercantile business that was opened in 1841. Located on the corner of what is known today as Eleventh Street and Sam Houston Avenue, customers rode their horses on streets made of dirt and tied them on posts outside of the mercantile doors. The Gibbs family soon realized the need many had to secure their valuables and the family allowed customers to safely stash their items in the family vault."

Has hours post on Saturday from 9am to 1pm and they aren’t even open! I drove an hour and a half for nothing. Definitely closing my account. Y’all’s reviews are bad for a reason.
Ms. Samuels helped me recently in the lobby. She is extremely knowledgeable and quick thinking. I've been banking here since the 1980s and she is a breath of fresh air.
Terrible. You're charged a fee just for having an account. Anytime we travel, they shut our cards off even though we've called them beforehand to let them know we'll be making unusual purchases. We had to open another account at another bank so we wouldn't keep getting stranded with no access to our money. We decided to use our account as a backup rather than primary account since we were having so many issues, but then we got locked out of our savings account because we didn't use it enough. What kind of institution forces you to use a savings account on a regular basis? Bizarre. The customer service is abhorrent. We had to jump through so many hoops and spend HOURS on the phone just to access our own money. The workers are generally not polite or helpful. The online banking is awful. Overall, we tried to stick it out because we wanted to be able to easily transfer $ to our elderly family members who use this bank, but it was an absolutely terrible experience.
Do not use the automatic bill pay for this bank. They do not distribute payments, even after calling them, This cost my college students in late rent payments.
They are very friendly and helpful but when I tried to move one of my accounts here to bank locally they could never get the online system to work then charged me a fee every month for not having access to the online portal which they were never able to give me access to. I went in and they tried multiple times but could never get it to work. I moved that account back to chase.
I've received better support and service from a bank in third world countries.
Nice people and good service, but the hours are extremely inconvenient.
App didn't show the right amount. The bank people didn't care. I closed the account.
