She holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Clemson University and a Doctorate of Dental Science from Howard University. She began practicing dentistry fifteen (15) years ago. First Smiles Dental opened its doors in December 2010. Dr. Fletcher-Barnes is married to Derrick Barnes, also a native of Camden, SC.
