The First Ward School House (Irving School) was built in 1896 and is Wisconsin Rapids Oldest surviving School house.
No tours, fundraisers for our local schools (such as the East Junior High fundraiser where we raise enough money to buy the students new computers), free field trips for our local schools, Halloween, or any other activities will no longer be happening at the First Ward. We are sorry, but the city will not allow us to have the public in our home any longer. Thank you for the years of support on this project.
To raise money to bring back this beautiful Old piece of Wisconsin Rapids History that was going to be taken down and turn it into our family home.
