Under new management, they had a good amount of fish to choose from. They had different plecos, fish, a few birds and other reptiles, a few rabbits as well. Good on price and the new manager knew a good amount on the fish we were looking for. We ended up taking home dwarf gourami for our nano tank we are starting. This is our second tank.
We bought our 2 Oscar's Jake and Lizzie over a 1 yr ago when they were just babies! I come here to buy them live goldfish. Great and knowledgeable staff!! Great prices and it's important to shop local and support our small business owners!!! Going today to buy more goldfish!!
Stopped in after many years. Crystal was knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. I bought a couple types of fish from them and all of which have done very well.
I left him my phone number and asked him to call me when he got some Uaru's in. A week later he called and sold me some Uaru's that he said "were eating". I bought 4 and brought them home, they didn't eat... Within 24 hours all 4 were dead. He just sold them to get my money. Likely the rest of his stock died off too from what I saw. I won't be back.
Fish City is a staple of the community and has been around forever! As a locally owned business, they fill a niche in this area and should definitely be one of the shops you think of when you need aquatics. The selection of fish is huge, and if they dont have exactly what you want in stock they are willing to work to obtain it for you. Try getting a big box store to do that for you, lol.
They had just what I was looking for. I went to several big box stores and was disappointed with the stock that was there.

This place is GREAT! Nate and his daughter, I think it's his daughter. Are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. A much better place to buy fish than the pet stores in my opinion. Will definitely go back.
Small town shop with a huge variety of everything from the basics to the exotic. Not bad prices compared to the big box stores.
If you’re looking for a fish store that has everything you could possibly want for your tank, on top of having so many different variates of fish that you can’t find anywhere else, this is absolutely that best place to go. Family owed, small business type place with such friendly, knowledgeable employees, you literally can’t go wrong. I’m so thankful to have finally found them, they have a new customer for life!
