Fish Pros - Lubbock

Was a 1st timer going was going to other places no joke when to this pet store and love it good prices lot of fish selection from fresh&salt water. The employees are very nice and ready help out.

I love fish pros. I have been going to the amarillo store for years. It is great to see them expanding with a well stocked shop in Lubbock .

Bought 5 feeder goldfish. Put them in a quarentine tank. 2 had internal parasites, both of which died soon after. 3 dead so far. 1 developed white spot disease ich/ick. Never buying feeder fish here

Great store for fresh and salt water! Plenty of live stock and lots of knowledgeable staff members!!! Lots of dry and frozen foods as well as supplies and new full tank set ups! All my fish are fat and happy!!!

Owner is knowledgeable and cares about the success of your hobby as a fish enthusiast. Finding specific fish this year has been tough in the Lubbock area, but this store has been able succeed where others haven't and I appreciate their efforts! I keep finding myself coming back, even just to learn! Update: Store went under new management 1 month after my review, and I've noticed the new owner is still trying to get his bearings 4 months into the job.

I'm am new to aquariums but for the looks from the building outside I was really surprised of all of the different kinds of fish they actually had there.

Very knowledgeable staff who take pride in their fish. All the tanks were clean and well kept. The staff were kind and gave great advise on what we were interested in. I wish they paid as much attention to keeping the store itself as clean as the tanks. The floors needed to be mopped and some areas could use decluttering. With this done the store would have such a greater overall appeal. The cleaning catch ups are easy to overlook when you consider the time spent and quality of the aquatic life there. I'm just very particular so I noticed it; however it wouldn't stop me from going back to purchase more fish.

Honestly the best fish store in town. Their fish are healthy and the tanks are always clean. I love that the fish are in tanks with actual environments. The selection is pretty healthy and they’ll assist if you are looking for something specific that they may not have. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and their customer service is above and beyond. They will spend time educating you on proper tank maintenance and fish compatibility. This is now the only place where my family will be purchasing our fish. Great customer service goes a long way and you will not be disappointed with Fish Pros!

Update: Went back after a couple years. Place has gone downhill. Left empty handed and disappointed. 3 hour drive wasted.. Amazing!!! Very helpful and informative!! Today was my first time to visit this spot. Love it!! The gentleman helped me with all of my issues and saved me a lot of time and energy. Highly recommended!!
