Friends of Fitchburg Dog Park is a group of volunteers committed to creating dog parks within our community in Fitchburg, MA.
Friends of Fitchburg DOGS, Inc is a committee comprised of volunteers together with the City of Fitchburg Parks and Recreation and Conservation Departments working to create a dog park to serve our community.
The city began exploring the idea of creating the park because of the growing number of residents who have dogs and want a nearby location where they could take them off the leash and let them run and play in a safe environment.
Our park proposal has been approved by the City of Fitchburg Parks Department and we are currently working on fundraising efforts.
