The principles of F.I.T training is to teach the body to work as a unit! This is due to the fact that at any given moment one system (group) of muscles must work in conjunction with another. When we train in this manner we teach the body to work as a collective unit. Human movement is performed in 3 dimensions, so why would you limit yourself to the 1 dimensional machines found in commercial gyms? The 3 main principles of F.I.T are: Flexibility, Stability, and Strength. One cannot achieve an ideal state of fitness without incorporating all 3 into a training program. With F.I.T training we strive to increase both the performance and health of our bodies that allow our clients to maintain active and pain-free lifestyles! Our programs replicate the natural motion of the human body which allows the style of training to adapt to any given sport or activity.

Build core strength
Killer abs are great, but more importantly, having a strong core will prevent injuries, improve posture and increase overall strength. This is because all of our movements are powered by the torso - the abs and back work together to support the spine during everyday activities and exercise. Suspension Training builds core strength with every exercise by creating an element of instability that calls on your core to provide balance and coordination.
Sports Specific Training
Training for sports is an often misunderstood aspect. Too often we have athletes training like body-builders and all their hard work has little to no transfer into making them better athletes. Understanding that sports have specific elements like speed, strength, power, agility, balance, and endurance just to name a few. Knowing where the focus is for each specific sport unlocks the key to unleash the maximum potential for each individual athlete. Having always been involved in sports himself, Adam Theodorou and his team of elite trainers has understood this and made the sports specific training program a big part of F.I.T studios. The knowledge of how to break down the kinematics of the sport allows us to train each individual for their specific sport. With staff having experience in hockey, golf, track & field, soccer, and martial arts. FitStudios is more then prepared to deal with the high demands of competitive athletes. Our facility is unlike any in the G.T.A, and is equipped to facilitate any workout/conditioning session for all level of athletes.
