Five Corner Cupboard Food Pantry is an ecumenical pantry whose mission is to provide supplemental food and hygiene items to people in need from E.Windsor.
The Five Corner Cupboard Food Pantry was started in 1973 as a mission of the First Congregational Church of East Windsor to assist church members in need. Eventually, other East Windsor residents were referred by local clergy.
"Hunger Has No Season". Our mission is to make sure no adults or children go hungry in East Windsor, CT.

The pantry is located in the former day care building across the parking lot from the church.
We are always in need of non perishable products such as:
Coffee-regular, decaf, cans, K cups and instant
Tea--regular and herbal
Flour & Sugar - 2lb size (easier to transport)
100& Juices
Canned meats, stews, tuna & other fish
Dried beans, peas, lentils
Canned vegetables and beans -- low salt, low sugar
Canned fruit--packed in water or 100% juice
Pasta sauce in jars and cans --low salt, low sugar
Pastas of all kinds, including gluten free and whole wheat
Heat and eat' and "easy open" items--for our homeless population
Cereals -- consider healthier, lower sugar types
Dried fruits-raisins, cherries, apricots, etc
Mayonnaise and whipped dressing
Condiments - ketchup, mustard, pickles, olives, relish and misc sauces
Personal care items - shave cream/razors, toothbrushes/floss, feminine hygiene items, hair conditioner, soap, deodorant etc.
Paper products- paper towels, kleenex, toilet paper
Pet food-- especially cat food-canned and dry
Then the "optional" stuff-- spices, meal helpers, snacks, pudding and baking mixes of all kinds, pasta/rice sides, baby wipes.
We cannot accept home prepared or canned items. Items must be commercially prepared and packaged.
At Thanksgiving and Christmas we welcome donations of turkeys, hams chickens and frozen pies. We distribute them, along with items needed to prepare the meal, one week prior to the holiday.
