Jodi graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Louis University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. The last five years were spent as Clinic Director for Heartland Rehab Services which was a multi-disciplinary therapy center.
In 2001, Jodi founded Fizer Fitness, Inc. The idea behind opening her own business was to change the mainstream focus of physical therapy from "quantity" of care to "quality" of care. The self-proclaimed "Body Detective" believes that in order for the body to function correctly, it must be in a state of balance. To accomplish this, Jodi focuses on providing exceptional one on one manual treatment with her clients through the use of fascial stretch therapy, sports specific training and non-traditional treatment modalities.
Jodi is not only a Licensed Physical Therapist, but is also a Certified Mulligan Practioner, Graston Technique Certified, Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute - Golf Fitness Instructor and the only Level 3 Medical Fascial Stretch Specialist in North Florida.
In 2013, Jodi was selected to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Stretch to Win Institute in Tempe, AZ. From hundreds of Fascial Stretch Therapist applicants, Jodi was hand -picked by the Stretch to Win creators, Ann and Chris Frederick, to personally assist them in teaching the Fascial Stretch Therapy Certification Courses.
