The Flagler Art & Wine Shuttle runs from Flagler Beach to The Hammock and back allowing guests to stop at and visit several different art venues. The net proceeds from riderships and sponsorships goes to a selected local charity.
The Flagler Art & Wine Shuttle, LLC was the brainchild of Frank Gromling, owner of Ocean Art Gallery, in February 2014 as a way to promote the art galleries in Flagler Beach and The Hammock in Palm Coast. He realized that all too often residents of Flagler Beach did not visit the galleries in The Hammock, and many Hammock residents did not visit Flagler Beach galleries.
Frank also wanted the Shuttle to benefit a local charity so he arranged for all net proceeds, after the direct costs of the vans, signs, and necessary supplies, to be donated to a worthy local 501(C)(3) charity organization. The first two Shuttles donated to the United Way Women’s Initiative of Flagler County and the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach benefited from the third Shuttle. The December 4, 2016 Shuttle will benefit Hope to Help Foundation, a 501(C)(3) women’s cancer support organization formed by Dr. Karen Toppi.
