Our Established Past
Flagship Bank Minnesota has a long history of serving communities in the state of Minnesota. Flagship Bank officially opened for business in 1875, as Sibley County Bank. In 1983 new ownership changed the name to Community Bank Minnesota Valley. In 2003, the bank expanded into Eden Prairie and Wayzata quickly becoming recognized as a banking leader in the Western suburbs. Since then, we have shown continued growth and a focused commitment to the Twin Cities market. The bank officially changed its name to Flagship Bank Minnesota in 2006.
The Isanti office first opened its doors as the Bank of Isanti, a private bank established in September 1899. In 1901, State Bank of Isanti (later called First State Bank of Isanti) succeeded Bank of Isanti, opening in a small brick building on Main Street in downtown Isanti with total assets of $10,000. Subsequently the bank changed its name to Landmark Community Bank, N.A. and was merged with Flagship Bank Minnesota in October 2016.
