Flagstaff Superior Court

I called for 2 months when they told me they would call me in 2 days to pick up money they owed me. After they told me they had to keep my money for their financial issues they paid me less than what they owed me and said they can’t pay me more. I even said, it is funny how you guys charge so many late fees to everyone who can’t pay on time because they have financial issues but won’t pay me a penny more for late fees. They said I signed papers agreeing I would not getting all my money back but I never once received a paper to sign from them. They would put me on hold for hours everyday I called to receive my money. They were so disrespectful and only one person tried to help me but couldn’t because he said he works from home and no one is at their desk working right now. I’ve had them hang up on me and tell me I have to figure it out on my own. They lied about times they could have my money to me and could not keep a promise. I talked to the “supervisor” who talked down on me and telling me how none of the people who answer the phone calls know what they’re talking about and only she does. I wish people could at least treat others with respect there, but obviously that is not possible for this court.

I paid my 347$ fine 3 months later I get a late fee total 490$ when I call the number on the letter mailed to me its out of service I left messages and so forth when I finally talk to a person and not an automated system they have me on hold for 30 minuets then they proceed to tell me they accidently put the original 347$ payment on another case with the same name so make sure you guys keep your receipts seems like they just want money and hire anybody !!

Got a speeding ticket and I’ve been trying to set up a payment plan for over two weeks. No one answer the phone or returns my calls. Undeniably corrupt because my only option is to call and set up payment. What happens if I miss my court date after repeatedly calling? Can’t believe this is the court system is such a small town like Flagstaff. I wasn’t expecting much but this is brutal and is putting a lot of people at risk for more serious violations if they are unable to appear in court like I am. Unbelievable and shameful.

Been trying to get a hold of them for over a year regarding a speeding ticket and no response whatsoever. My license has been suspended because of them and still unable to get a hold of them. I'm over 300 miles away from the courthouse so it's not just a drive up the road to talk to them. It's unacceptable and I have no way of getting my license straightened out because they won't even communicate with the DMV.

Nobody seems to ever answer ANY of the NINE extensions available when one calls the "Flagstaff Justice Court". I have called roughly fifty times in the last three days desperately trying to get ahold of anybody. Normally, if an "employee" isn't doing the job they are being PAID to do like say.... answer the phone? then they are fired. Absolutely 0 professionalism, zero help, and zero ability to get in contact with anybody at this sad establishment.

I was pulled over for a suspended license, which in itself is a bit of a story but summary is it for suspended due to complications from covid lockdown, and going over the gore lane. Alright, gore lane was an obvious mistake on my end and I take full responsibility for such. I had wanted to dispute the issues with the suspended license because I felt that it was an unfair call as I was never informed of said suspension. But I never got my chance to speak. I went to court as summoned and the secretary only saw me, no judge no court no anything. He and I set up a payment plan while he ignored any questions I had concerning anything I could do to try and save myself from some of the trouble. He wasn't hearing it.... Whatever fine, court only wants my money anyways sure. I tell him I'll skip the school and aim to pay it all off in one plan. We did that and set up payments on the 13th each month.... 2 months forward, I get a letter saying my license was suspended due to failure to appear on the 11th... I called and paid them with the help of a understanding lady by the name of Jennifer, I believe, the 14th and it was never mentioned, at all. Called them when I got the letter roughly the 20th and they claimed that they had on record me speaking to a gentleman about the failure to appear incident. And NOW they without reason or advanced noticed informed me that my new payment date is on the 6th.... I never initiated such thing. I can't afford a lawyer, I don't know if this is normal or expected, but it's pretty damn frustrating to see it's not commonplace for "innocent till proven guilty" anymore in our systems.

I got a speeding ticket 2 months ago, was told to do driving school by the officer, but I needed a court approval to do so. After messaging the ODR thing they offered I got a response 3 weeks later telling me to put it in another conversation tab. After doing so and getting close to the end of my ODR request I still haven't heard anything. Nothing like making people stress for 2/3 months over 1 minor mistake.

It’s a court house... so expectations aren’t high HOWEVER they can’t even answer their phones. I’ve been trying to pay off the rest of my fine and they won’t even answer, I’ve tried NCourt, I’ve tried their main lines and not a single answer on any of them. Since Tuesday, it’s now Friday, I’ve called most, if not all, of these numbers everyday only to be put on hold for 15, 30, 45 minutes at which case I realized I’m just wasting my own time and hung up. I work a lot and I am literally not able to come into the court in person because I work the hours they are open and on the weekends when they are closed... so do you guys want your money or what? I’ll keep calling and have a detailed record of it ready with my lawyer when y’all try to issue a warrant for failure of payment, which you often due simply because of your all’s own negligence.

Falsely suspended my license and issued a warrant for my arrest. I have called, left multiple messages with all of my info and no one calls me back. I’ve called 6 times today… I wish there was a way to report them. Absolutely insane.

What a poor excuse for a “Justice” Court. I received a citation for not having a life jacket onboard an inflatable kayak...It took me two months to simply plead guilty to this heinous crime after calling over and over again trying to get someone on the phone to do so. Now, I receive a text message from the court saying my fine amount of $200 is past due when the notice I received in the mail days later says $160. It is impossible to get someone on the phone to explain the discrepancy, so I have paid the $160 put forth by the notice in black and white and perhaps I will respond to said text message and see if anyone is on the other end of that. I now carry a life jacket with me everywhere. Well played Judge!
