I work in the areas of business, non-profit organizations, real estate, and wills and trusts.
I've been an attorney for over 31 years and have practiced here in Franklin and Hampshire Counties for nearly 24 years. I work in the areas of business, non-profit organizations, real estate, and wills and trusts.
I've lived in Western Massachusetts since 1983 and I love it here. I spend a lot of my time outdoors: hiking, snowshoeing, camping, tracking, birding, practicing ancient nature skills, kayaking, fishing, bicycling, and hunting. I've been involved since 1995 in deeply transformative men's work which teaches men a perspective and a skill set they can use to become the men they want to be. (See http://www.mkpne.org for more information.) I am always happy to talk with men or women about this amazing work.
I am passionate about creating a new, more economically and environmentally sustainable culture in which we human beings live more closely integrated with the natural world and more peacefully and cooperatively with each other. Much of my work on this long-term project is done through a bioregionally-oriented, 501(c)(3) organization, the Central Connecticut River Valley Institute. See http://ccrvi.org. I would thoroughly enjoy using my legal services to help you with projects which help move our culture in the direction I'd like to see it go.
My practice has always been rooted in helping people do things right the first time and plan for the future.
